Last night, Nicki dialed Funkmaster Flex’s show on Hot 97. She spoke on her VMA performance, visiting Lil Wayne, “Right Through Me“, false show at Montclair State University in New Jersey, and her Complex spread.

Nicki’s new song is mediocre…her solo work has been either straight up horrible or mediocre.
She better start releasing them street singles because those club singles suck ass!

That Right Thru Me track will end up being a top 10, possibly top 5 song in the country…I think there’s a very good chance that Nick Minaj ends up selling more than Drake…or right around the same…Cash Money/Young Money possibly has 3 of the top 5 or so hip hop artists in the world right now on their roster…right now, 3/4ths of the way through 2010 they have 3 of only 4 albums to go gold

And i think it’s a safe bet to add Nicki to that list…I actually think their dominance of the contemporary rap scene is completely understated…especially when you consider Cash Money is essentially an independent label with major label distribution and marketing…they’re on the only major label in the game that has a distribution deal…clap for ’em

Will.I.Am produced Nas’ Hiphop Is Dead. Relax. Check It Out go hard. Not every record has to be so serious man. We have a balance in music. Talib, Mos Def, Soulja Boy, etc. There’s somethin for everybody. Like i dont like JCole but i dont call him wack cus there are ppl out their who get joy out his music. And thats wat music is about. Just saying. Nicki has alot of pressure as a female rapper. If she doesnt sell then wat does that say bout females in rap

And Nicki is gonna sell, obivously, but not because she putting out the hottest or most influential or even the most meaningful music, but because the name NICKI MINAJ is tied to a gimmick. I bet if she came out when you could actually speak your mind with real talk and go GOLD or PLATINUM, she would be spitting different shit
