Banging beat. Dope hook.DJ Khalil is a beast. This is the most modern and relelvant I’ve heard Redman sound in awhile. He needs to stay on this vibe. No disrespect to Erick Sermon but this is that shit.
This Dude DASHING above me had the nerve to say DOPE HOOK— there was no hook it was a mediocre song and people are right RED dont put no feeling in his music anymore –hes just going through the motions. People can feel when you poor your soul in your music.This dude had me amped on Time for some ACTION and TONIGHTS THE KNIGHT—-but this ish right here sounded like he heard the beat and wrote some ish on his pad in 5 min and went and smoked a blunt and recorded it in another 5.It sounded like no effort was used like he dont even write to the music,he just has songs written and just puts a beat to it. I’m a 90’s era fan but I get really SICK of everybody from that era talking about “I wish he/she would take it back to they old style…” People seem to forget that Redman needs to eat just like we do!!
