T.I. Addresses His Fans

TIP took to his website this evening to get a few things out to his fans. He spoke on his emotional state after heading back to jail as well as thanked his supporters for checking out his brand new video “Get Back Up“.

“Thank you to all that took the time to check out my new video GET BACK UP with my homie Chris Brown. And a bigger thanks to those of you who decided to comment (good & bad). To all of you who say “He should practice what he preaches” and “How could he do something so stupid…AGAIN?” You’re absolutely right and I couldn’t agree with you more. But you know what? As history has shown us before, I find my greatest inspiration during my darkest hours. So all fans of music, T.I. or not, should be able to agree that NO MERCY will surely be my best work yet. After all isn’t that what it’s all about? If I never went to prison, never did drugs, never f’ed up again, did everything right and never made great music….would you even care enough to comment on T.I.? Doubt it, so bear that in mind while you jump to your conclusions guys. Martin Luther King once said “Notice not the comments of your enemies but the silence of your friends.” So although I’m still in touch…watching, reading and listening, I’m not concerned with what negative people say more than I am with what positive people don’t. Guess that’s enough for now… Love you all still, whether you still love me or not. REAL TALK!!! And I would like to give a special I LOVE U to @star_omg and @tinymajormama. – Tip”

Feel bad that TI’s back in jail, but I doubt No Mercy will be his best work. Unless he drops somethin that people will fuck with in like 5 years like What You Know. Cuz right now No Mercy doesn’t seem to be cutting it.
Too bad, Tip. At least you had a good career.

  5. still best rite now!! says:

I see TIP is taking a page out of Lil Wayne’s how to stay relevant while locked up handbook!!

  6. ESCO says:

TI pays more attention to the haters than any other rapper out there, and he’s right, he does make better songs when he’s backs on the wall. With tracks from his last album like ‘No matter what’, ‘Ready for whatever’, ‘A better day’ etc. I would have said it’s a good thing, because it does motivate him to write philosophical songs.

Since he came out of prison, he came out out with nothing but average songs. The moment he got in trouble, he came up with his best song since he got out, ‘Get back up’. Rappers are weird in that way.

50 Cent is another, ever since BISD didn’t do as well as his previous albums (the 1 month leak destroyed any chance of it ever doing well btw), and his comments on twitter, you just know he’s been paying attention to the haters and he’s already been working about 3-4 months on an album that will come out next year, he’s been putting in massive work when compared to his previous albums which were done over the space of weeks. Excluding the remixes he’s made, because they are not his songs, every song he’s come out with since has also been very dope.

  7. Black Shady says:

T.I I fuckz with u since back then nigga, but god you make some dumb moves

  8. mac DIESEL says:
