He never gets promo for his albums unfortunately. I wonder why Meth, Red, and Ghost are still on Def Jam. They haven’t had success with them in a long time. Why not go to an independent label where you can work your project and reap more financial rewards?

I am a HUGE supporter of the Wu and undoubtedly I have a feeling Apollo Kids will be a classic especially with the features. However, I dont understand why Ghost would not want to take a page out of Raekwon’s book and properly promote this album. I know Ghost has a slightly larger fanbase than Raekwon, but regardless Ghostface would do even bigger numbers with the proper promotion. I am sure Def Jam is behind the lack of promotion, but to do this to a hiphop legend is f*ckin ridiculous.
I’ve never heard a bad ghost album, so rushed or not it will still be better than alot of shit that gets released these days.

From the record labels perspective this could just be a tax write-off and from Ghost’s perspective it could just be another album to cross off the list so he can get out of his contract.
Either way looking forward to this, that first joint was nice. Hopefully its just rushed in delivery and not in construction like ‘Massacre’ with Rae and Meth.
