Sales only matter when it’s an artist YOU don’t like, ppl wanna bring up sales when an artist they don’t like doesn’t sale like Ross, Drake or Wayne. HipHop fans are hypocrits. Artist are in the business to make money whether y’all like to think so or not. The tickets aren’t free, the album isn’t free, its all for SALE therefore their expecting to make money out it, it’s ppl’s livelyhoods so sales do matter otherwise they’d just give u free music. Just take the loss and live with it, I said Banks would not sell alot because the ppl who have the most support on blogs and websites don’t sell much cus y’all just download the shit while the REAL consumers who don’t comment on blogs or websites go out and buy the music.

Here’s the thing. Good sales does not mean the material is quality. I wish Banks did more cuz his album was good, better than Nickis cuz I actually listened to hers and found it good too.
My problem is just when peolple think a album with great sales is a quality album 100% of the time. That’s it. Otherwise I agree with yu. Banks shoulda done waaaaaaay more than Flocka im pissed bout that
I agree sales doesn’t equal quality but who determines what GOOD QUALITY is but the individual purchasing the product. What we think is good quality may not be the same for someone else. I dont think Waka is good but my friends do so who am i to say my opinion is the ultimate factor. That’s all im saying. I think Banks is just ok, thats my opinion, but some ppl think he’s ill, so if u like an artist fuck wit em’

quit acting like you dont know why kanye and nicki is selling that much,bcuz they both made their albums available for 3 dollars on amazon plus with a code you can get it for less than a dollar,this is the reason they’re predicted to sell that much,they’re both desperate for huge first week numbers.

@Donn The hiphop community decides what’s good quality and what’s trash. Music reviewers who are paid to analyze and give biased album response. Nicki is at the top of the charts with Kanye but she’s been written up as pop more than hiphop. Kanye would never fall in the pop category. Money may talk but it doesn’t tell the moral of the story.
