Admittedly I’m not a big N.E.R.D. supporter. I like my Pharrell peddling beats and hooks to great MCs and stayin’ on the sidelines. But with a somewhat open, slate-cleaning mind I copped the oft-delayed Nothing the day it dropped. And guess what? I didn’t like it. From the annoying chorus-laden opener “Party People”; to the Al Green on acid space ride “Hypnotize U”; to a slithery shit sandwich called “Help Me”, the album clearly stumbles badly out the gate. To be fair, things pick up a bit on the Swizz Beatz and Rakim-jacked “God Bless Us All” and the McCartney-influenced “Life As A Fish”. But all in all, it’s not enough to save the overall disc as a notable downgrade from the band’s previous efforts. Even a non-fan can see that.

Your taste in music sucks, thought the album was dope. If you aren’t a NERD fan i wouldn’t expect you to get into their music, but any NERD fan knows this album was dope. Do us a favor and stick to rap, even though yall aren’t even good at that anymore with the mediocre shit yall have at best mixtape and most disappointing album with Nas joint.

This album should have been the #1 worst album, or at least the #1 disappointing album. It’s a HUGE step down musically and quality wise from “Seeing Sounds”. I’ve noticed most people who mention they like it really only say such because their NERD fanatics or just trying to be different.

For an album to be disappointing, it had to have high expectations and fell short of those expectations right? Thats why I didnt get half of that list and why Waynes album was on that list. It wasnt disappointing at all. If people were expecting anything more than throwaways, then it would be disappointing. But I guess some of yall were expecting a C2 type of album huh? I expected garbage and received garbage. Wasnt disappointed at all. Human Being should def. be on this list though. It was def. one of the worst of this year.

This album was one of the best albums of the year amongst others. Sorry if your a hardcore hiphp fan, this isn’t for you.
I’m a huge N*E*R*D fam. Got all albums, Neptunes Presents Clones, All Kelis albums, All Clipse albums, All Robin Thicke albums, Pharrell solo, Chester French etc. And I can honestly say that this might possibly be their worst album out of In Search Of…, Fly or Die, Seeing Sounds, Nothing.
That album was wack.
It was oksy, but it wasn’t THAT bad.
I really liked this album…This is not Hip Hop Music just Music…You can’t say that this album sucks because we can see that a big job had been done on it…and it sounds really good…for me at least
