  6. B/c they are past their prime just wash up rappers! Amit it fuck boy they arent mainstream so they will flop thats sewage ratts for ya enough said….

  7. COLD BLOOD says:

SLAUGHTERHOUSE IS THE BEST RAP GROUP PERIOD! WITH SHADY RECORDS THEIR SECOND ALBUM WILL BE A CLASSIC!

    YOU CAN HATE ME NOW!

  8. Mitch 3K says:

    @ Black Panther

    So Negative, lol

You lookin into a crystal ball over there??………Making predictions like Miss Cleo and shit, SMH

If it flops, it flops, but why do you care to begin with, you work for shady records??………Then sit back and listen to the record as a fan instead of a buisnessman

  9. @Mitch3k Nah i fuck with them but why sign with shady we seen what happen to obie stat so by signing with shady whats the outcome do you know what im saying?

  10. Thank Me Hater says:

cmon only legitimate artists competition for these cats are roc nation. the three j’s jay z j elect and j.cole are incredible but I don’t see anybody on good music fucking with these cats lyrically for real. And we ALL know YM aint fucking with anybody on the mic sooooooo…..

  11. THIS IS FACT NIGGER says:

Why the fuck is that white dude acting like a fucking faggot when Crooked I is speaking

  12. boston-morgan says:

Slaughterhouse are great mc’s but will never appeal to the mass public and will NEVER have a track on rotation on the radio or mtv. Yelawolf is the gayest fuck on the mic… like really slim?? Yelawolf??? Lol… i think mr. Iovine told Em to taake him under his wing. I’m hands down a wayyyyyyy betta rapper than Yelawolf. Aftermath & Shady don’t put out albums EVERRRRRRR.

  13. Word says:

I kinda agree with @Black Panther. These dudes are beast on the mic no doubt. I fucks with everyone of them, no doubt. And when it comes to the other labels, no other label is touching this one lyrically. BUT, lyrics dont sell as much these days. Before, being lyrical was like 60-70% of the puzzle to making a good song alongside a good hook and the beat. Now, lyrics are less than half of the concern. How else can Waka get away with saying NOTHING on his songs? Cuz when that beat drops and the hook plays, we all forget what the fuck he was saying anyway.

Also, take into account that these guys are OLD, its gonna be hard for them to connect with the younger generation. ‘Ol heads will recognize but half of them aint gonna buy that shit. If another label signed them I would say they push 30k first week, maybe less. BUT since Ems name is on it, I would assume it tops 100k. Dude is a sales machine, aint no way his stans are gonna ignore something backed by him. White people will notice it, and every one else will follow suit. Thats prolly why Em tried so hard to reach the pop crowd this year, now that the new fans are sucked in, they watching his moves. They asking questions. Thats why I dont see them flopping too hard. They still gotta translate mic skills into good music tho.

  14. Mitch 3K says:

    @ Black Panther

Em seems to be alot more focused now, and Obie Released 2 albums with Em, including one that went platinum, which is something Nobody in Slaughterhouse has ever done, so its not impossible

from 01-04 that label released alot of hits, D12 went Double Platinum 2wice, Obie Went Platinum, 50 Blew the fuck up, 2 hit compilations that went Multi Platinum(8 Mile) and Platinum (Re-Up)

Honestly, only 2 albums they ever released that didnt sell shit was Obie’s 2nd and That Cashis EP

So, I’ll give dude the benefit of the doubt and say the reason why shit fell apart was because he got too heavy into drugs, and see if he makes up for it this round

  15. damn homie says:

Crooked I is dope, I’m glad that he’s getting another shot after suge and deathrow. Back off em’s biz skills, did he not give u guys 50cent? Who has jay z given u? Amil? Beans never went plat neither has memph bleek (where are they now), and we all know cam and kanye was thx to dame dash. Good luck j cole and j elect. Signing to a label where the ceo is the biggest star rarely works monetary wise, but its a new year maybe they’ve figured it out. Where is ortiz signed? And did nas ever say where he’s goin?

  16. tizzy says:

An eminem cosign and being featured on a single is enough to push SH to over 100,000 units first week. shit Gucci only pushed 80,000 and he is mainstream as fuck…..

With a solid push and promotion lyrics can be ont he comeback. Hoenstly how much longer are people going to listen to brain dead music.

  17. getwarm says:

I’m not worried about sales. Thats whats wrong with hip hop these days. Sells don’t make someone dope. Slaughterhouse is dope. If they sell 1 or 1 mil I just want good music

  18. Niyemortal says:

Cosign to @Word and @Black Panther

These dudes aint wack at all, but idk if the signing will really help them. What happened to Stat Quo, D12, Obie Trice, and Bobby Creekwater? None of those dudes really took off and the economic climate was MUCH BETTER back then, so how do you really expect this group to take off these days unless they change their formula?

  19. ZoomZoom says:

    D12>>>>>>> SLUAGHTER HOUSE LOL

“YOUNG MONEY RUN THIS SHIT AND YOU NIGGAZ IS RUNNER-UPS” WAYNE SAID IT HIMSELF

HE BASICALLY SAID WE CAN ALL SHARE THIS GAME. BUT YOU JUST WILL NEVER BE BETTER THAN US LOL!

  20. ZoomZoom says:

LOL AND THEY ALL IN THERE 30’S SMFH

  21. nickiminajass says:

This time it seems eminem is more serious about his label. He had signed one of the most lyrical groups in hiphop. There not the biggest mainstream group in hiphop. Signing Yelawolf to who is expected to be in XXL freshmanlist for this year. With still 50 and D12 signed to the label both expected to have albums out this year. Then still having cashis on the label who is awful. Then slim da monster who wrote most of detox.
He could sign even more artist to the label hopefully. Rumors of method man or redman to the label on allhiphop rumors the over month. With talk of Kendrick Lamar signing to dr dre label aftermath me might sign to shady records as well. Who knows.

  22. wow says:

Yeah <3 >>> Now , who the hell want to fuck with shady’s crew

  23. One says:

    COB till it’s over!

  24. Gucc Mane says:

    Brrrrrr 1017 BRICK SQUAD

  25. Citylivin' says:

at the end of the day YM wins the battle of labels with just Wayne,Drake & Nicki….(i like Wayne,Drake & Nicki, i just HATE their fans)….all this hope on these new artists, stop fooling y’allselves….the only new artists that will probably sell records are J.Cole & Wiz Khalifa.

  26. Justmyopinion says:

You dudes confuse me. First you said it’s great for Hip-Hop then y’all concerned about album sales. Who saying it won’t sell? If enough Hip-Hop heads buy into to it whatever it sells-it sells so be it. Whether it sell 500k or 20k, am appreciative that four of the best Kurdish in the game got the backing of Shady Records. One for Hip-Hop, Zero for B/S Hip-Hop.

  27. Gucc Mane says:

    BRICK SQUADDDD!!!

  28. sweet L says:

Slaughterhouse and shady together are a good look.. with this and the 3js on roc, maybe we can have a resurgance of substance and lyricism in hiphop back into the mainstream. Sprinkle a new nas lp, talib etc and 2011 fin to be great for rap

  29. Belize says:

Dope! Wish them nothin but success.

  30. JERZZZ says:

Aye Yo Zoom, I told you to kill yaself yesterday…..we waitin……. Fuck outta here you bitch ass nigga,…….
    SLAUGHTERHOUSE

  31. Del says:

why are niggaz concerned with age? as long as they drop heat i don’t give damn if they’re 50 years old… u hatin’ ass cry babies

  32. papabearATL says:

Dudes talking about age, album sales, label rosters? One of these clowns even refered to SH as ‘new’ artist? Smh. I think each individual artist has had bad production, now they will have access to dope beats with mainstream appeal. For those on rocnation, ask Budden about Growth coming out working for Jay-Z. Dope lyrics, great rapper, don’t always make a great label head, esp when they are your labelmate and have their own projects to work on. I look forward to great music in 2011 and hope they all do well and drown out the dumped down.
