What kinda message is this video sending? An education is the strongest tool to transcend the suffering coupled with a low socioeconomic status. Dead Prez used similar (but more intense) imagery in “They Schoolz,” but then LYRICALLY ADDRESSED their lack engagement as a result of the education inequality which continues to plague America.
Congrats to the Cool Kids (who i 100% fuck with musically) for making it out, but to encourage kids to blow off their education is ridiculous. Why do the rich and famous refuse to help those struggling, when success provides the resources to more adequately address societal problems?
