Dude is gonna do what he needs to do to get his name out there and cross over to the people who buy albums, not some back packer mfs who download shit and bitch about hiphop all day. These features gets his name hot and build anticipation for his project, he would gain no ground if he spent all day rhyming on underground niggas like Kendrick Lamar, Krit, etc records. J Cole is a artist, not just a mc, artist have range and can do what the fuck they want. Jay-z, Nas, Biggie,etc rhymed on a bunch of r and b records, why can’t he. Geeuz, i been saying that shit for the longest, now somebody gets it. There’s a difference between a RAPPER and an ARTIST. Artist can do more than just rap, do more than just sing. J. Cole in my opinion is a much better rapper than Drake and he killed the song still but everybody knows Drake always kills love songs. He caters to the ladies more and Drake is a good rapper too but the songs that’ are for the ladies is all drizzy. But Cole up next and finna kill it. Glad to have both of them in the game.
