I like this ish – you can still have lyrics on a love track, doesn’t always have to be simple — was wondering what happened to the pen, been quiet since he signed to roc nation

  15. Word says:

Good shit. Cole showing that versatility. Dude can feature on any type of song at this point. Pop shit with Rihanna, RnB with Sean Garrett, Posse Cuts with Kanye and GOOD Music (While Killing everybody else at that). All he needs is a bonafide hit. Not like Wiz or Drake, but something. Imma cop regardless but im just saying

  16. ODM3TheTruth says:

I want the uncensored version to this song.

  17. L.A. says:

WEAK! Hook sounds like Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Tha Crossroads

  18. Emile says:

Drake was never on any ‘original’, his verse from a session with Wayne was stolen and tacked into this. J.Cole was always the intended rapper to be on the song.

  19. BEEZO says:

I FUCKS WITH JCOLE TALENTED DUDE BUT THIS WHAT HAPPEN WHEN U SEARCHING FOR THAT HIT U ALL OVER THE PLACE UR LYRICS GET DUMB DOWN …COLE SHOULD HAVE NEVER SIGN WITH JAY …JAY IS NOT GONNA LET HIM OUT THE GATE IF HE DONT GET A HIT…ITS NOT LOOKING COLE

  20. ZoomZoomDad-Otis says:

Sean Garrett talks on the track like he holding his nose or sumthin. I remember that song he was on with LUDA & Chris Brown.

  21. Word says:

    @BEEZO

You gotta dumb it down for this type of song nigga. You think females wanna hear complex rhyme schemes in this type of song? Come on nigga think. This song is for females, Cole just adapting to the song so that the audience gets full satisfaction from the song. He’s holding back his good lyrics for his album, he aint gonna waste nuffin on no collabs like this. Theres a difference between dumbing down the lyrics to adapt to the song and just dumbing down your lyrics period. His album gonna be a better showcase of his talent watch

  22. flawda says:

    @ Beezo

Why is it so hard for you dudes to understand that J Cole himself said, he doesn’t want to be known as a underground rapper and as soon as you put him in a box, he will step outside of it. It’s called being a well rounded rapper, if you want to here some superlyrical nerd rapper, go listen to Canibus, Immortal Technique and those other lame rappers. Ain’t nobody tryna here complex lyrics on a r and b track!

  23. Donn says:

Ok Cole. Trynna get some mainstream love. Take notes RAPPERS. Not everything has to be raw and gangsta

  24. Itz Yourz says:

Shit is aight to me. J Cole did his thing…but he didnt drop no “dreams”type of lyrics to it…he coulda went much harder…I guess he saving for his album.

Bye the way when is it coming out? How Jay and Kanye putting an album out in March and cole had next? Leave dat nigga Cole!

  25. Belize says:

Yes! J.Cole at his worst would’ve been 10x >>>>>>>>Drake at his best!

  26. James says:

NIGGA GIVE UP THE RB SHIT! HIS VOICE AND HIS FLOW DONT MIX ON THIS BEAT! WACK!!

  27. BEN10 says:

@flawda @ word…IT COOL TO DO 1 OR 2 RNB TRACKS BUT WHEN U START TO FEAT ON EVERTHING RNB TRYING TO FOLLOW THE TRENDS THAT WHERE U FUCK UP AT ….COLE IS M.C. IS NOT A RAPPER DRAKE IS RAPPER SINGING ALL THAT BULLSHIT …..COLE DONT NEED TO FOLLOW THAT SHIT YEA HE STEPPING OUTSIDE THE BOX INTO EVERYBODY ELSE BOX … AND FOR THE RECORD THAT SONG IS WACK……… FLIPPING ONE OF BONETHUGS- N -HARMONY VERSE COLE U SHOULD NO BETTER NOT TO GET ON THAT SHIT ……….DRAKE THREW U ONE OF HIS BONES …..U PLAYED URSELF

  28. flawda says:

    @ Ben10

Dude is gonna do what he needs to do to get his name out there and cross over to the people who buy albums, not some back packer mfs who download shit and bitch about hiphop all day. These features gets his name hot and build anticipation for his project, he would gain no ground if he spent all day rhyming on underground niggas like Kendrick Lamar, Krit, etc records. J Cole is a artist, not just a mc, artist have range and can do what the fuck they want. Jay-z, Nas, Biggie, etc rhymed on a bunch of r and b records, why can’t he. You might think the song is wack, but bitches love it and it’s getting radio play. As of Drake throwing a bone, this song never was meant for him, he put his verse on it and Coles verse is way better anyways.

  29. Supreme says:

What’s the girl in blue’s name she bad i know the other girl Draya

  30. Shzntt says:

^^^ Co sign what he said. lol Cole World Nikka……

  31. Donn says:

    Cosign @ flawda
Geeuz, i been saying that shit for the longest, now somebody gets it. There’s a difference between a RAPPER and an ARTIST. Artist can do more than just rap, do more than just sing. Cole produces, sings a bit, raps. Dude is creative and why would he just do something to please a bunch of downloading internet gangsters?
How many of y’all screaming Cole world actually ran to iTunes to buy Who Dat?
Exactly…support ur artist and stop complaining

  32. PJ says:

    J. Cole in my opinion is a much better rapper than Drake and he killed the song still but everybody knows Drake always kills love songs. He caters to the ladies more and Drake is a good rapper too but the songs that’ are for the ladies is all drizzy. But Cole up next and finna kill it. Glad to have both of them in the game.
