Its ok, i like the verses, cus their deep but the singing for the hook is off a bit. Sometimes its not Weezy’s singing that i grow tired of because sometimes it works for certain songs like Prostitute, Lollipop, etc, but for this song in particular, it would have worked with a different hook. But this obviously isn’t going on Carter IV and its a throwaway which is why we have it lol
We’ve seen some of Weezy’s greatest songs, greatest verses, heard the worse songs and verses. Thats what being a muscians is all about. Growth. He is not gonna have perfect songs and verses everytime he releases a song or one LEAKS. Its about growth. Jay has done bad songs, Andre 3000 has done TONS of bad songs, Eminem put out Relapse, which he said was his worse album. Its all about growth
