Honestly, I’ve been a Lil Kim fan since I was a child. I grew up on her music, and she’s always been a creative, sexy rapper. Since Nicki came up and out, I’ve been a fan. She’s, like Lil Kim, is a creative, sexy rapper. I feel like Lil Kim feels threatened by Nicki’s presence in the game. Nicki is willing to share, and Lil Kim just wants to conquer. There are dozens of creative, sexy female rappers in the game that Lil Kim could have targeted, so why Nicki? Here’s your answer, because Nicki has something that puts her over the rest of them, and even over Lil Kim. Lil Kim had her time, and she was amazing in her prime. There’s plenty of room in the game for Lil Kim to enter back in and show who she is, and again be the amazing rapper she has always been. She doesn’t have to steal what’s working for Nicki, add trademarked Kim tweaks, and sell it as her own. Nicki’s song ‘Tragedy’ is, in my opinion, a true rapper’s way of settling a problem. I feel like Nicki has beautifully and wonderfully made it through the drama with her head attached and her class in tact. I feel bad for Kim because she looks petty here, and this album was done out of desperation to over shine Nicki. It didn’t work whatsoever. This made Nicki look stronger, classier, more mature, and altogether better. Black Friday makes Lil Kim look like she forgot how to play the game. Bottom line is as follows: Going after the youngest, strongest lion doesn’t make you stronger and better, especially if you don’t execute a slaughter 😉
