Jay E is the nicest of the new up and comers to me. . His biggest gift on the mic though is charisma. That “it” you can’t put your finger on. His punchlines can’t see J Cole’s, he doesn’t rhyme with melody in his voice like Drake, but something about what he’s sayin’ and how he’s sayin’ it just makes you wanna hear what he’s gon’ say next. Black man has a presence on the mic.
He has that “it” factor that the greats have/had. Can’t wait for the album.

….i am a pretty big fan of jay elect but you guys have to be honest…coming from jay, these lyrics aren’t all that, a few good lines. plus the wack ass audio makes it worse. did he record this on an iphone headset? i feel like this is legitimately a freestyle, but just because he really went off the dome doesn’t mean it was great. don’t dickride.
usually jay elec is a perfectionist but this shit is choppy as fuck.. this sounds like it was spontaneous haha thats what a “freestyle” should be though
