1) Canibus is a Beast Lyrically, but his style is still very dated and too deep to even enjoy

1) You claim not to be hating, yet every single post of yours in this thread (11 by my count) is negative. Why go to all that trouble just to discredit an artist whose music you obviously don’t listen to?
2) How does posting diss verses against Canibus allow other people to make their own honest opinion about this track? What does his past beefs have to do with anything that’s going on in this song? Sure, I could post the lyrics to “The Ballad”, “U Didn’t Care”, “2nd Round Knockout”, and “The Ripper Strikes Back” but what would that accomplish?
3) You say he’s not in the same league as Rakim and Nas, and yes, that’s probably true in the grand scheme of things. However, he has collaborated with both artists in the past and in the case of the former, you admit it’s a hot track. In the case of the latter, listen to Desperadoes Part II. I’d argue that ‘Bis murdering the original track definitely influenced Nas when he wrote his rhyme (after the original came out) and I’d argue ‘Bis still bested him there.
4) You say “premo smashed him” yet both artists have squshed this media-fabricated “beef” and want to work with each other again. Do your research, Premier said so on his own blog. Also, while I’m at it, Canibus doesn’t have a twitter account, it’s a FAKE.
5) It’s nice to see you read Canibus’ wikipedia entry. And he’s where I know you don’t listen to his music: A) Only tracks 6 (I’ll Buss Him, You Punish Him, feat. Rakim), 11 (Phuk U), and 12 (Horsemen) are hot? The last one was a Pharoahe Monch intro, plus you forgot Track 7 (Mic-Nificent), Track 10 (Lost @ C), and Track 13 (100 fucking BARS). B) You misinterpreted the whole purpose of the “Stan” character and the meaning behind the whole album in general (Hint: It’s a satire of the music industry). C) You don’t reference the “Rip The Jacker” album which is almost universally recognized as his finest work to date.
Again, why go to all that trouble just to discredit an artist whose music, or career, you obviously don’t follow? Just to have your opinion heard while “trying to get all the Bombs droped on mr.tinman before the canibus crazies start talking about how “Nice” he is.” What does bringing up bullshit that occurred 8-10+ years ago have to do with what this post is all about.
