On the New Orleans leg of Lil Wayne’s I Am Music 2 tour, he revealed to MTV that’s he’s filming a documentary based on the concert series. No word on whether it will hit the silver screen or the DVD bins.
“I just felt like a movie like that hasn’t come out in so long. At that time when they put those movies out, we as the fans were interested in what they were doing on the road. … Nobody hasn’t came around since then that was that interesting other than Young Money. It’s going to be real major; it’s going to be real big, I will eat real nice.”
Damn after glancing at the headline for a second I though the lil nigga had been shot on tour.

Hopefully this’ll be real interesting. Documentaries like this don’t come around often enough, as fans we want an insight into these artists. Yeah concerts, interviews, music videos are ok but its the behind the scenes which is what we want. This is why even if you don’t like Wayne’s music you should appreciate his perspective. He’s a cultural icon like the Rolling Stones, their documentary (Exile on Main st) was dope too.
