wow big bank take little bank for real! MMG

  2. COLD BLOOD says:

TYLER, THE CREATOR SALES > MMG SALES! LMFAO!

    YOU CAN HATE ME NOW!

  3. Donn says:

These guys are great at marketing themselves. @Cold Blood…I thought it was bout the music, why u keep bringing up sales??

  4. COLD BLOOD says:

    SELF-MADE VS. GOBLIN

SELF-MADE: RICK ROSS, MEEK MILL, WALE, PILL, TEEDRA MOSES, JADAKISS, J. COLE, CYHI DA PRYNCE, CURREN$Y, JEREMIH, GUNPLAY, CHESTER FRENCH, FRENCH MONTANA, STALLEY, JUST BLAZE, LEX LUGER, CARDIAK + HUGE PROMOTION/WARNER BROS. RECORDS

GOBLIN: TYLER, THE CREATOR, LEFT BRAIN, FRANK OCEAN, HODGY BEATS – INDEPENDENT RELEASE

    LMFAO!

    YOU CAN HATE ME NOW!

  5. Your mother's "friend" says:

@Donn Please these guys aren’t great at anything , who watches these things anyway ?? i know YN can’t keep his eyes of anything ross related but i just dont see how anyone would want to waste 10 min of their life watching these pointless ego boosters

  6. RealDeal says:

    @COLD BLOOD is totally right.

    THE TRUTH HURTS

  7. RealDeal says:

    @Your mother’s “friend

I DON’T THINK ANYONE WATCHES THEM

    HA HA FUCKING DJ KHALED

  8. Vashani says:

    dj khaled..annoying as shit..lol..for real..
…this use to be one of my favorite sites, but i proly wouldn’t read it as much if i never found out how to make money from the comments i write… http://ow.ly/55GWr

  9. B says:

Their first week projections actually dropped from 50 to 55 to 45,000. They are getting a lot of mainstream promotion u would thing they would have sold much more. I wonder if Diddy and Jay z are up for another round of saving Rozay this go around? These numbers would been good on a independent label. Then again it would had been less promo. 50 cent said his drop would be gradual as time went on.

  10. B says:

@Donn sales don’t matter when u have talent. Because mainstream fans like bullsh-t. Talent is like the boogie man to them. The problem here is he’s a fraud, can’t rap, and a cornball. I though cornballs and weirdo’s were supposed to sell.

  11. YOUR pusha says:

most of their promotion is in house(from film crew, producers, artists,,etc) so the big labels Warner or DEF jam dont have to do or spend much, i think MMG is setting a new blueprint for self marketing and promotion, a young artist should watch how they do it and follow in their nike air jordans footsteps, and the quality of everything they do is way up there, the sales will come eventually but people forget that this is a label in its infant stages, unless youre jayz, eminem, drake, kanye, lil wayne and maybe niki minaj youre not goin to sell much anyway its not about first week sales anymore its more about staying relevant and being visible to the masses, so with this sort of start they can only get bigger, give props

  12. DominateGene says:

Vanilla Ice sold 7 million copies of his debut “To the Extreme”
Insane Clown Posse have 2 Platinum albums and 3 Gold albums

    What do sales mean??

Maybach Music Group dropped a COMPILATION album with without a single rapper on the entire project that has ever gone platinum and the people are enjoying the music.

The 50Cent wierdos are so desperate for some kind of “Victory” that they focus their entire attention to sales-data instead of the quality of the music.

  13. Mastermind says:

How is this a disappointment? Ross’ last group album – Triple C’s did 12K the first week. This will do around 50K. My math tells me that’s 4x better for a Ross compilation. So sorry G-unit stans, but MMG’s not going anywhere.

  14. DominateGene says:

Get Rich or Die Tryin = 8 million sold
The Massacre = 5 million sold
    Curtis = 1 million sold
    Before I Self Destruct = 500,000

LMAO!!! Never before in the history of Rap music has a rapper fallen off so horribly and rapidly.

Every time Filthy-Cent drops an album he loses half or more of his fanbase which is pathetic considering he has Dr Dre and Emenim in his corner.

. 50 cent said his own drop would be gradual as time went on.

  15. Kwamé says:

    I axually expected them to sell less.This was initially a mixtape.Ross barely goes gold anyway so…good 4 them.that album is a banga,tho.

  16. B says:

I’m not a G Unit stan. I don’t even listen to 50 cent. I’m just saying in house promotion or no house promotion, these dude’s on the radio day in and day out. 45k does not equal hearing this cornball on the radio everyday. furthermore, triple c didn’t even get any airplay. They went on the strength of being associated with a fat fraud.

  17. JIMMY says:

DOPE! THAT SELF MADE GOES HARD!

    -JIMMY IS THE ILLEST

  18. Citylivin' says:

ahhh nothing like that emphasis on record sales on Rap Radar everyday….it’ll only be a matter of time before your favorite rapper starts doing pop songs to get those “sales” up….they might be already doing it….but hey atleast the “hip-hop” fan is happy, right?…..
    …..Hip-hop fans killed hip-hop…..

  19. DominateGene says:

@B You lost for listening to the radio day in and day out and since when do radio-spins translate to people paying $10,00 for a compilation of regional rappers??

50K @ $10.00 = $500,000, that half-a-mill can cover any budget expenses from the label since MMG didnt use multiple big-name producers or Platinum rappers, or high-budget videos.

MMG are going on the biggest tour of the year with LiL Wayne and they are doing Summer-Jam, a 50 city tour with international dates.

They have plenty of opportunities to sell more records in every city they tour by doing in-store signings and putting on hot shows.

  20. DominateGene says:

@Citylivin’ MMG didnt have to make “Candy-Shop” or ‘Amusement-Park” songs to cater to the suburban-white-pop demographic that are the #1 consumers of rap music.

MMG didnt have to use weirdo-shock tactics like eating roaches or lynching themselves in their videos to get attention.

Kinda sad when the sales-freaks compare solo-projects to compilation albums.

Kinda sad when people quote 50-Cent talking about “gradually fall off” when “Teflon Don” and “Aston Martin Music” both went Gold as an album and as a single last year while 50-Cent had to shelve his techno-hop album “Black Magic”.

  21. ZoomZoomDad-Otis says:

I went to JEEZY’S parties not the MIAMI PD parties. If you come down here to MIAMI next year their going to be some big changes for memorial day “hip hop weekend” mayor of miami beach is talking about setting a curfew. That shootout monday morning didnt help. Folks that live down on MIAMI BEACH “hip hop weekend” stopped.

  22. Citylivin' says:

    @DominateGene
i understand what your talking about, MMG is keeping it straight hip-hop and for some reason getting slandered…i don’t get it…..these idiots who call themselves hip-hop fans lose sight that the only way to sell those numbers that they’re clowning MMG for not selling is to go pop…..i could really be mean and bring up Lloyd Bank’s case but i ain’t gonna do that HA!…

  23. haterade says:

Their album is dope, mite not hv sold much cuz niggerz ar downloading it illegally for real ( i know many niggerz who have)…but peeps love/need their music, cuz it go hard and people bump Ross/MMGs shit….MMG for life!!! Haters can eat a di**K!!!!

  24. B says:

DON’T LISTEN TO THE RADIO EVA. STRAIGHT HIP HOP IS BEING REAL AND NOT A FRAUD. U LOST BECAUSE HIP HOP WAS BUILT ON BEING AT LEAST CLOSE TO BEING THE REAL DEAL.

A REAL HIP HOP FAN DOES NOT CARE IS MAKES A GOOD SONG HERE AND THERE. HE GOES AGAINST THE RULES OF HIP HOP. ANYONE WHO THINKS DIFFERENT IS JUST A RAP FAN.

YALL JUST INTO BEATS AND HOOKS. RICK ROSS IS NOT A RAPPER. HE’S A ENTERTAINER.

  25. Black Shady says:

    Drake shooting niggas now? HA!

    Dollicia looks gooooooooood

  26. SELF MADE says:

    ROSS STAY WINNING

  29. SELF MADE says:

    WE THE BEST FOREVER!!!!

  30. Donn says:

    Nobody watches this???

Go to the youtube page and see how many ppl watch these videos. Hip Hop Fans Killed Hip Hop…Ain’t that the truth…

If u don’t care, why comment??

  31. DominateGene says:

    That one guy is misguided.

HipHop was never built on who is “Real”, that “real” stuff didnt infest the culture untill Vanilla Ice came into the culture and was exposed as a fraud.

Rap was built on who can rock-the-crowd and who’s the nicest in the cypher/battle with the rhymes.

I could care less if Rick Ross worked for a year in a correctional institution when he was 19 years old and lied about his employment history to a guy in an interview…I care about the music.

Some of us dont need a father-figure, role-model, or hero when it comes to rappers we just want hot beats, slick rhymes, catchy hooks and something to play the background during our social activities.

The streets embrace Rozay and the industry embraces Rozay but G-Unit stans and wannabees hate him.

  32. DominateGene says:

    People are sick-minded.

Rozay scoops up 3 rappers that were on the XXL freshman list and gives them an opportunity to gain some national spotlight and tour the country and all these sickos can talk about is his emplyment history or the record-sales on the project.

This album dosent have a single platinum rapper on it.
The only big-name producer on this album is Just Blaze

99% of the rappers on MMG Vol. 1; Wale, J.Cole, Cyhi da Prince, Curren$y, Pill, Meek Mill are 25 and under, young emcees trying to build their brand and feed their families and team, and instead of appluading this effort people are praying for their downfall.

  33. mac DIESEL says:

    U MUST BE DONN’S BOYFRIEND!!!!

    ….HA!!!!

  37. Codeen says:

    @Selfmade

Nigga don’t be mad cause niggas would rather buy Jeezy’s mixtape tapes Than fake ass Ross’s. lol

  38. GUARE says:

oh shut the fuck up.. get off the niggas dick.. this nigga keeps trying to stamp a name ana group and then flip them and it dont work.. nobody buying into they shit.. thats where a nigga make money when he flip the name into a house hold name and then he starts the rape.. and this nigga cant do it.. nobody buying them fake ass groups… thats a total flop.. is ya niggas nuts.. go head and cut a group check wit four people with only 50 thou in sales.. nigga thats like 12 thou per artist.. that shit aint gonna cut it … them niggas dudes.. i still dont know they names.. aye i heard tu pac just went back in his grave wit them lame ass sales hahahhahahahahahahahahhaha fuck outta here

  39. SJ says:

Blah Blah Blah Who ever said these dudes are not platinum artist yet and that’s why it didn’t sell that much is full of sh-t. That don’t matter. This is basically a Rick Ross album. I’m not a fan of Rick Ross but im surprised to be honest his sales were not higher considering his fans are brain dead sheep who entertains the repetitive insult to intelligence garbage he puts out. Maybe there’s hope after all that this nothing to offer the human brain fat fraud will fall of one day and stop taking up valuable space in the rap game. I don’t know man no matter the music I just can’t get passed him being a funny style type a dude who seems to be acting even in interviews. He’ a lucky guy but still has not learned. He was very close to being destroyed but I don’t think he realizes it. In a video he was talking and said: ” we ain’t on no humble sh-t”. The arrogance of this dude. He had a near career death experience and this sloppy fat fraud did not humble him self one bit.

  40. SJ says:

This guy is all over the place. On records with top sellin artist, on tours, and projections are 45k?

How are they recouping from promotion cost? One thing is for sure they really like this guy. it’s a hand full of artist who receive unconditional support from record labels and this guys one of them. If he sold 15K he probably would still be promoted relentlessly.

  41. tizzle says:

the comments on this site be way to extra…youll like niggas who hustle backwards on da block..dnt like to see nobody gettin it

  42. changeclothz says:

I fuxx with Rick ross all day eehh day
