  86. What's the Z in Jays name mean says:

At KillaDawg I totally agree Nas did kill him but Em fans will say that wasn’t even a Em verse, it was written for Dre.

Anyways I’m very impress with these lyrics, it’s nothing ignorant like those BME verses but once again, THE PRODUCTION SUCKS!

Salaam Remi is a fraud ass producer. This beat is just as worst as THEIVES THEME and HHID.

But Nasty Nas killed it still.

  87. What's the Z in Jays name mean says:

    Thieves theme I meant

  88. The Original says:

  90. LA says:

Damn stop acting like this is dope. Shit GARBAGE! Smh at you stans

  91. Take It or Leave It says:

Its Raw! Nas gotta be the last relevent nigga alive to still blaze over beats that sound hip hop.

To those of you who claim to want Nas on “better beats” or who claim “nas cant pick beats”, say what you really mean,. Yall want Nas on crossover beats or club anthems. Sometimes I too want to hear a Nas track played while up in the club or on the radio but at the same time I want to hear Nas on beats just like this one. I want to hear Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Game on hip hop beats like this one and not on a Techno beat with autotune, or a rock beat with autotune, or a pop beat with autotune or a Lex Luger sounding beat (tho those are cool too every now and then). This track is fire and the lyrics….”past nasty now its grosser repulsive”.

“Im so high I Neverland like Mike Jacksons crib
vest on 45 still crack your rib
    sacrilege
talk trash about the nasty kid”

    “On my deen nigga
your flow cheap as limousine liquor
Im no fake rap CD listener
sit back and roll a mean swisher
for my G’s tell these clowns make room for the king nigga!”

Its better bars but those the ones I remember off top I appologize to the Nas stans in advance if I fucked up a word or 2.

And fuck the Z what does the Jay in Jay-Zs name mean?

  92. DestroyerOfDumbFucks says:

OMFG FINALLY TOOK HIM SO FUCKING LONG BUT HE DELIVERED LIFE IS GOOD >>>>>>>>>

  93. nycccccc says:

live at the bbq flow….yeah this is nasty nas right here people!

  94. OBVIOUS FACT says:

    NAS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> JAY-Z

  95. Really says:

This track cannot be touched by anyone hot right now. And it still isn’t even his best.. Nas is the greatest to ever do it. Period.

    this shit is real good

  100. Wally Champ says:

ahhh shit Now the Real is Back
    ecso lets goes!!!!

  101. Chex says:

It’s evident that Nas is still king. Especially considering the overwhelming amount of positive feedback this thread has received. That is all.

  102. pienman says:

  103. wickwickwack says:

    Lyrics-Fireflame!

  125. rdsanboogie says:

Amazing………..and for all the haters, try listening to the fckin lyrics!

  126. What's the Z in Jays name mean says:

@Chris, im a huge fan of the ILLMATIC album. Not 1 wack beat. IT WAS WRITTEN, not 1 wack beat. NAS I AM, my favorite album and no wack beats. Nastradamus, Gods son, Stillmatic, Street Disciple, HHID all had some wack beats but dope ass lyrics.

Lyrically he is top 5 possibly #1, but my upbringing in hip hop has always been DOPE BEATS AND LYRICS. DONT SWEAT THE TECHNIQUE by Rakim was the start of his decline. The beats got weak and alot of ppl HATE weak beats. Big Daddy Kane’s decline was also because of weak beats and trying to use lame RnB tracks, but lyrically Kane is dope.

LL COOL JAY isn’t a lyrical monster but he was able to have a stable career because of the right music. JAYZ is a lyrical genius and majority of the times had great music to make him even more greater and still very anticipated in this present day.

Beats and Rhymes are very important and A TRIBE CALLED QUEST proved that on every album except 1 due to fire damage. Tupac told SHOCK G “I can’t pick beats!” Shock G hit him with I GET AROUND beat and that catapulted Tupac’s legacy. Biggie always wanted dope beats. Imagine Biggie spitting WHO SHOT YA to some regular “ok” sounding beat? Exactly!

The beats are important and this NASTY track is good to listen to for the lyrics, but I have a nice car system and this isn’t bumpable enough to ride to. I still can ride to LL’s BOOMING SYSTEM. See my point fam?

  127. ironic says:

could be a good year for hip hop culture, after all…..

  140. illaDeuce says:

I MISSED NASTY NAS. Nas has been so dry sounding, the delivery was lacking, lyrics stayed hot tho. But now he’s back on his shit, this flow would wet any emcee up.

Nas one of my favs ever…. he killed the track but the beat is kinda wack… it sounds too dated like it was supposed to be on Nastradomous or Illmatic or It was Written….

  147. Chrissy X says:

Lets keep it real the only thing u can find garbage about this record is the beat. Bra flow is on point, he is expressing complete thoughts while every word that is rhymed is compressed. His technique is impressive as well. I fell off with nas after that street desciple shit but this shit go ham. I see a come back for nas if he can pick some better beats. Matter fact he should let someone else pick his beats and he just apply that same technique to them

  148. che el pibe says:

ummmm so he jst bugged tha fuck out??? lol

  149. real talk says:

When Nas raps about social issues haters complain and now he is just being crazy lyrical on a hip hop beat and you niggas talking about why he talking abou drugs and murder. “Ya flow is cheap as limosine liquor”- Dont hurt’em Nas. Nah Do hurt em Nas. Niggas act like they didnt wanna fuck with you while you was trying to hip the world to more insightfull life styles so go ahead and shit on em. The next nigga that claim G.O.A.T. and dont have no more than a A-B-A-B rhyme scheme on that one at a time punch line shit… see the discography of one Nasir Jones before you commence to pull your microphone out your throat. BACK the fuck up you non rhyming wanna be but dont know what it is MCs. I cant wait for the album!!!

this is making me shake. i was in the car when this came on and lost my mind! i was screaming “ooooh ooooh” this made me excited…i think NAS BROUGHT REAL HIP HOP BACK…WORD UP. A VERY GOOD LOOK…VERY GOOD. MUY BUENO.

  165. Truth says:

HOLY SHEEET. I haven’t heard Nas go in like this in a hot min. Dude back on some classic shit! OMG.

  166. More fya! says:

Str8 UP! Nas as we know it is maaaad nice, however, there is A LOT of niiiice nicca’s out there right now. Nas has longevity and that’s what’s up!!! Nonetheless…. NAS does need to seriously lean back with this producer of his. It’s redundant and if he’s to make an impressionable mark on his fans, new & old or gain new ones, he needs to keep it CURRENT like ELLIOT! Gheezus!!!
Otherwise….. well, you know the rest.

Sometimes the most simple things in life that can make you better are the very things that often hold you back. It’s called “loyalty”, but “loyalty” ain’t worth nathans but the value you put into it.
I guess some folks are content with Nathans.

Who holds the thrown right now…?
    Jay-Z
    Lil Wayne
    Drake
    *Nas

The asterisk symbolizes possible steroid use, cause you gotta be on steroids to be as NICE as Nas and slowly fall off. Come on playa!!!!

    wasn’t it in a verse…?
    yeah, yeah….
“I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death”…..

    True dat…
    so perhaps a deviated septum….?
