Run and tell this. In the midst of the ongoing violence in City Of Brotherly Love, radio personality Star of Philly’s 100.3 The Beat’s Star & Buckwild Morning Show has decided to relaunch his Start Snitching campaign in partnership with Philly’s mayor, Michael A. Nutter and the Philadelphia Police department’s Deputy Commissioner Richard J. Ross Jr.
Founded in 2002, Star launched the campaign in NYC to encourage individuals to come forward with information in regards to crimes. So far, there have been 156 homicides in Philadelphia this year.
THANK GOD! Finally someone has some sense. Too many murders being unsolved cus ppl wanna obey some stupid code that helps no one but the criminals themselves. HIPHOP is partly to blame

the definition of a snitch: to turn informer (as in turning on your comrades- as in you yourself where involved)
regular folks think they’re snitching. no, you’re only a snitch if you helped shoot someone then decided to take a lesser sentence by giving names of your accomplices. so people, stop hiding and help solve these crimes. ish is getting ridic here in philly. not a good look at all.

People took don’t snitch from the 1900 to around 1970 when black people had to protect ourselves due to racist cops who hardly protected us or harass us. But after black leaders and organization got falsely arrested, disbanded or got murder in the 1960’s gangs form but did illegal shit and took don’t snitch to a different meaning by only protecting themselves and not the people.

i also think this is pretty good so that it may clean up stars image cause he got a bad rap a coupla yrs ago….so i am happy for him now and we need to have a radio personality do that here in new york cause our state is also getting out of control and that is bad for the people that have to live in certain areas of new york also..nuff said thou..
