DMX is realer than any of these idiots who critisise, he has never lied on a record and he’s always been scary! Hip-Hop needs this right now, skinny jeans and pop songs are not the way it was meant to be. He can’t flow as well as some but his lines and delivery bury most of these cats. I wasn’t even a big DMX fan when he cme out cos I don’t like Swizz Beats and he was all over the early production, but I’ve always had respect for DMX cos he’s the champion, and even more respect since he has fought the illuminati and told Jay-Z to go fuck himself.
Let’s have DMX with KRS-ONE, The LOX (JADA!), Nas, Raekwon, Ghostface, Method Man, Redman, Busta and T.I. Maybe an outside chance of Prodigy from Mobb Deep on an anti-illuminati tip and Sean P of Heltah Skeltah getting grimey. Maybe some political conscousness from the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli and Mos Def. But It’s all about Nas, LOX and Wu for the features, that’s the It’s Dark and Hell is Hot part 2 we’re waiting for. Oh, and Em and DMX collaborated back in the day, maybe we can get a Slaughterhouse feature for the win?
