Red is definitely a step up from LAX, but not better than Doc’s Advocate. Games one of those ppl who gets in his own way, he woulda benefited from being a G-unit/Aftermath soldier, with Fif n Dre’s guidance. he had potential to be great, but far too many gimmicky acts.

@stillthebest @hiphophead it wouldn’t of mattered G-Unit would have fell anyway. Their a gangsta rap group and 50 used beef for gimmicks (like Game does) that’s why BISD didnt sell. Game sold more records then rest of the Unit next to 50 and it showed caused he still had platinum records after he got kicked out the unit. Now Buck fucked up he needed the Unit. Lloyd Banks and Yayo are over.
On subject the freestyle was subpar
His album is legit, people are saying it’s not better than Doctor’s Advocate. True that. But truthfully, Nas’ last album wasn’t good as illmatic, Ye’s last album wasn’t good as College Dropout, Em’s last album wasn’t good as SSLP, many rappers go their whole careers never outdoing their debuts, doesn’t make them bad MCs. The album is dope, Game brought all this hate on himself because of all the disses, gimmicks, and name-dropping he did to get attention, instead of just letting good music speak for itself.
