If you took the time to listen, or do a little research before you speak, then you know he’s a big fan, and has paid homage to the New Orleans style rap from the late 90’s- That’d be Hot Boys and No Limit- so yeah the fact that it looks like a “no limit cover from 98”- The fact you associated it with that, without knowing the story- shows that the cover worked. It reminded you of exactly what he’s trying to pay homage to. Like the song “U Undastand” on Black Flame is an homage to Juvies “U Undastand”– You just got schooled. You can go home now.
