After sparring with liver cancer, former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier passed away last night at his Philadelphia home. He was 67. The boxing and Hip-Hop community shared their condolences via Twitter. R.I.P. Smokin’ Joe.

Definitely time (it’s long overdue) to put up a Joe Frazier statue up here in Philly. We have a Rocky one, now Smokin’ Joe definitely needs to be immortalized. RIP to a true legend.
