No, he thought about it at first. Then he said Jay because he likes some of the music he’s putting out. Which means he’s implying Nas is not putting out good music. Only people that want to hear Nas re-create Illmatic really think that. Listen to NIGGER, America, Africa Must Wake Up, Friends, Nasty, Like Smoke… dude’s putting out great music, just not really popular like that anymore.
