New Music: Katy Perry x B.o.B. “The One That Got Away (Remix)”

Katy Perry already has five Hot 100 No.1 singles off her Teenage Dream album. One more will land her as the only artist to have achieve 6 from one album. Let’s see if this remix featuring Bobby Ray can help do it.

B.o.B haters don’t know talent. It’s just another pop single by Katy Perry that sounds shockingly similar to the rest of her body work. However, this single is dramatically better than the original version and for the addition of B.o.B’s part I bump it up a notch. With Bobby Ray, it helps juxtapose the otherwise bland and repetitive few verses that Katy wrote for herself.

Although I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who doesn’t already like Katy Perry, I could easily see this as an improvement to Katy’s current music style.
