i’ve never been a fan of rick ross, and i’ve never bought a cd of his, primarily because he was a c.o., but now raps about being a cocaine boss. (however, i can’t say that he isn’t involved in something either.) also the real rick ross is out of prison, and i think i’d rather “side with him” to word it one way. at the end of the day, i just don’t know what he brings to the rap game and hip hop culture other than motion picture grunts. huh.
on the other hand enough time has passed since he “joined” the rap game, that this next album will be a true testament of his ability as an artist to show us who “rick ross” is and what he stands for as a presence. also we’ll see whether his rap skills have improved.
