Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius’ collaborative project, WZRD is in stores today. Can’t find it? Well, according to Cudi it was undershipped. As he’s done in the past, Cudder turned to Twitter and lashed out on the label for its lack of support.
Ok so just a heads up, my weak ass label only shipped 55k physicals cuz they treated this like some indie side project tax right off. So i apologize on behalf of my weak ass major label. And I apologize for the lack of promo, again, my weak ass major label. They tried to rush me thru this so i can just give em another MOTM, but guess what? Fuck that, next album is WZRD. MOTM3 on hold til 2014.

i bought it from Best Buy, it’s pretty dope. But this really isn’t good news on two fronts, it’s shitty that this album is being underpromoted and while I like WZRD, I want another MoTM, this was a cool side project but I’d rather have Cudi rapping again.

There isn’t a single song on WZRD that’s even close to as good as “Erase Me” or “Ghost!”, and neither of them were Cudi’s best. “Pursuit of Happiness” only serves to highlight exactly how depreciated Cudi has become as an artist. WZRD’s music can be much more easily compared to “Prom Queen” and some of the garbage on Rebirth, or maybe that universally despised new Metallica album.

We have to be real with ourselves, this WZRD album sucks ass crap. And the single he’s calling a hit isn’t even close to being a hit compared to the hit singles out today.
