Fresh off his stellar performance last night at the XXL Freshmen concert, Macklemore releases his new video in support of the last track of the magazine’s mixtape. This clip is great. It’s basically a highlight reel of Mac and Ryan’s travels. And from the looks of it, they’re having a damn good time.

We had a whole lot of superstars on this stage here tonight. But this is… Papoose's house? We're all still reeling that the 20th anniversary of Hip-Hop's Super Bowl featured the Nacirema Dream as a headliner. Damn you Kendrick Lamar and your generous ways. Yeah it's hip-hop to bum rush the show but c'mon Pap you know you didn't deserve that look. And you gave even less fucks by performing a new song. C'mon fam. You've paid a lot of dues through the years but this was the big dawg time in the program. Don't disrespect the game in your pursuit for fame. Oh well, Brooklyn took it.
Speaking of BK, Fab had a master plan of bringing Lil Kim and Foxy Brown back together again. But when it was time to make history, Fox Boogie was nowhere to be found. Where was you at? Wack.
Dope.
def looking forward to more stuff from them
Good music right here
sometimes music isn’t for everyone but regardless you gotta #respect this dude’s hustle.
I’m not a fan but this is the second time I checked out something from him. I have yet to really like anything I’ve heard from him yet.
But Im not gonna count him out yet. I’ll look for more stuff instead of just 2 tracks.
I checked out his ’05 album today after Talib co-signed his XXL performance yesterday. “The Language Of My World” good stuff, every track had a central theme, and great production.
i’ve been a fan of macklemore since language of my world…even had the signed poster hanging up. it’s great when music like his reaches more than his niche market. do yourself a favor and invest some time into his catalog. you’ll find a scary resemblance of how eminem’s “infinite” is similar to macklemore’s “open your eyes” (meaning their early work is so different and you can tell they are mastering their craft). you can really see that this emcee is taking his job serious. keep up the amazing work.
The horns and chorus kinda ruined it for me.
Thank you RR. Loving every second of this. Dude deserves it, he makes crazy good music. Macklemore is the man.
