  1. ThatKid says:

that’s a dumb topic to touch on when your interviewing him, that’s a question you ask after

  2. poetic assasin says:

It definitely isn’t- people be asking and talking about the same damn shit all the time- its emb arrassing. I love Rosenberg and his impact on hip hop- one of the few that still loves the culture . Wrappers don’t have to think in interviews, they just say the same things over and over

  3. poetic assasin says:

    Rappers *

  4. mac DIESEL says:

IF YA BROTHER-IN-LAW WAS STILL ALIVE, U WOULDN’T CARE ABOUT THAT WIZ KHALIFA LINE OR THE HANDS ON THE WHEEL RECORD, PETER!!!! SORRY FOR YA LOSS, BUT STOP FRONTIN’!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  5. That Guy says:

Thatkid and mac Diesel are fools. I commend Rosenberg for having the balls to confront a celebrity and elicit a response that teaches us something wholly new about the artist. After all, that is the whole point of an interview. Unlike these bullshit interviews that recycle the same questions that hip-hop heads already know the answers to, Rosenberg’s interview touches on a controversial subject and shows what Whiz thinks about this song from another perspective, that is, someone who lost someone in an alcohol related accident. Frankly I don’t care if you “hate on my opinion;” if you disagree, you can suck the D. Carry on.

  6. Dewan says:

Did Rosenberg ever address black-on-black crime, misogyny, rampant materialism, drug use, glorification of lack of education, or any other issues that are common in hip-hop AND more detrimental to our communities? Hell no. And he won’t because those issues don’t have a direct effect on his life. In fact, he profits from them, which makes his safe driving efforts seem insincere.

  7. mac DIESEL says:

Did Rosenberg ever address black-on-black crime, misogyny, rampant materialism, drug use, glorification of lack of education, or any other issues that are common in hip-hop AND more detrimental to our communities? Hell no. And he won

  8. Trin says:

I commend him for at trying to make a point, Truth is do you make the same comments about people for any cause? do you say aww if those mothers kids at Maad didnt die they wouldnt be protesting, SO WHAT does it really matter if a personal pain inspires you to do something no.

Does he have to make a stand for everything to be sincere about one thing. I don’t get how people down shit that supposed to be positive.

  9. mac DIESEL says:

    @ Trin

NOBODY AIN’T DOWNIN’ SHIT!!!! ALL I’M SAYIN’ IS IF DRINKING & DRIVING WAS AN IMPORTANT ISSUE FOR HIM, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN TALKED ABOUT IT!!!! DON’T COME OUT AND TRY TO QUESTION RAPPERS AND THEIR LYRICS NOW WHEN THOSE SAME LYRICS WERE THERE BEFORE YOUR BROTHER-IN-LAW DIED!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  10. Talley says:

Y’all niggas is gay for arguing on every post on rapradar. Mac Diesel you really have no life it’s almost sad. Commenting on everything every rapper does or says. Go get some money..

  11. Ollie JONES says:

Since Peter Rosenberg is talking lyrics how about he gets Rick Ross,Jay-z,Raekwon and ask them why do they embrace the drug war so much as millions of people die over it…..

  12. mac DIESEL says:

    @ Talley

YOUR LIFE IS TO COMMENT ON mac DIESEL!!!!

    …..YOU’RE WELCOME!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  13. Khalifa says:

Drinking and driving is dumb, rude, and ignorant shit! It’s fucked up in so many ways don’t do it

  14. Trin says:

Seems like you dont get the point. I dont matter what inspired him to speak against it. Dont you think that sometimes things dont really become a major topic on ppls life till it happen around them? Plus
Hes not gaining anything by speaking against it.
And yes you are downing it. you saying fuck him for saying something only after his bro in law died. I mean really.

  15. mac DIESEL says:

    @ Trin

I’M NOT DOWNIN’ SHIT!!!! IF THAT WUT HE WANTS TO TALK ABOUT, SO BE IT!!!!! BUT DON’T START QUESTIONING RAPPERS’ LYRICS NOW CUZ U WENT THRU A PERSONAL TRAGEDY!!!!

…….NEVER HAD A RELATIVE/FRIEND DIE FROM BREAST CANCER, DIABETES, OR HIV/AIDS, BUT I’VE DONE CHARITY WORK FOR THOSE ISSUES!!!! JUST SAYIN’!!!!

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  16. CRACK-SPITTA says:

Wow, you people are trying to be way too hipster/wannabe renaissance men on this subject. My mom has cancer… did I give a fuck about cancer before she got it? No. The subject hardly ever crossed my mind. I obviously knew about it and knew its terrible consequences but I just assumed no one close to me would ever have it. Now it does and I try to bring awareness about it.

The REAL message Rosenburg is saying is THINK BEFORE DOING SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW YOU SHOULDN’T BE DOING. YOU AND EVERYONE AROUND YOU ARE NOT INVINCIBLE. He’s just using Wiz to put emphasize behind his message.

You people look stupid dissing Rosenburg over such a POSITIVE message. It’s rare to see that in hip-hop. You nigs would be crying your little eyes out if your brother died in a drinking and driving accident.

  17. Ghost says:

Fuck that drinking and driving is fun. I’m about to drink and drive now. Haha

  18. Oz says:

shut the fuck up rosenburg its cool for everyone else like wayne jay rap bout shooting up ppl and doing other shit but the shit is gonna happen regardless of the song art is an expression if everything that offended people got censored there would be no rap or other great things this is more about you trying to blame mother fuckers

  19. WA says:

  20. IM730 says:

haha this aint right. Don’t drink and drive but smoke weeeeeeeddd allllll dayyyy long. Just because smoking doesnt have maybe a instant effect on a life doesnt mean it might not effect in the long term. Have him def make a statement for the cause but If i were Wiz i wouldn’t “address” shit i said in my lyrics.

If you cant blame My Chemical Romance for a kid committing suicide you cant blame a rapper for your kid drinking and driving. Or Eminem for someone killing their mother. Or Jay Z for pushing weight or Lil wayne for poping an e pill. Or Kanye for your kid walking into def jam asking for “50 million or ima quit” haha

  21. IM730 says:

I 100% respect him for trying to make a difference but if he’s gonna try and question the lyrics of all the “drinking and driving rappers” then he’s retarded. Make a psa with your favorite drinking and driving rapper and talk about how it aint cool (cause its not) but dont make them “address” their own lyrics.

  22. lilrizq says:

That’s the thing about Wiz, that lil dude speaks like a old head when he address issues like this. he had a good answer for this topic. alot of other rappers would have probably said some stupidd sh–. Respect to Wiz and sorry for Rosenburg’s lost.

  23. Boog says:

I just have a problem at how he approached ScHoolboy Q. He came at Q too hostile in my opinion. But when it was time to interview Wiz about the same subject he seems more lenient. If you’re going to chastise people make sure that everyone gets it the same.

  24. Evil says:

Good for Rosenberg.I fucking HATE drunk drivers.Talk about stupidity

  25. e says:

how about he speaks out against drugs?

  26. e says:

this dude got children smoking weed and this fool trying to get in his face about drinking and driving? and it sounds like this nigga is just saying whatever to shut up him up

  27. Trillionaire says:

Rosenburg shut the fuck up…wtf is this dude the hip-hop police. Everybody know that drinking and driving is bad but people still do it. If he want to spread the word about his brother in law death and how his views changed on the situation thats cool. but this fake policing shit gotta stop…Zimmerman ass nigga

  28. Kope says:

Rapradar would definitely not be the same without mac DIESEL ha

  29. County Of Kings says:

got nothing but respect for both of them. he didnt attack him, and wiz showed a level of maturity that u dont often see out here.
other rappers wouldve stormed out or had beef wit rosenberg for talking to them about their own lyrics. he turned a negative into a positive for both of them.
    respect
