While in town for the Club Paradise tour, Cole stopped by Bootleg Kev‘s show to discuss his Twitter hiatus, MTV Hottest MC snub, lack of new music and update on the joint project with Kendrick Lamar.

Idk, there’s nothing wrong with dropping a joint here and there to keep the streets satisfied. U got dudes like Rick Ross and Meek and 2 Chainz supplying the streets and the streets showing them love in return. U gotta feed your fans sometimes. But regardless, Cole still the man and the net is gonna respond whenever he drops something but I wouldn’t underestimate keeping heat out there. At least a feature or two

Cole has dropped a couple tracks tho. Grew Up Fast was tough. Visionz of Home was a great track too. He produced for that wacl 360 guy. He was on the Im Home remix with Trae the Truth. Cole been around.

All these rappers do is feed their fans and they’re fans ain’t buying their shit, they just download ’em. So I ain’t even mad if he’s tryna sell. For an artist like J Cole it’s worth the money.
I like his theory on artist always needing the spotlight and wanting to be relevant.
