^Freshmen? This dude has the lyrical ability of a new comer. How you know his hustle isn’t making mixtape/songs. What’s the point of making an album when you spend 2.1 million (IF THAT) to make 20k. In addition, you have to do 100 shows per month to recoup. There is no money-I repeat-There is no money in making albums. Unless, you’re the creme de la creme (Eminem, Jay-z, Kanye)-the types that can command the budget and project the sales. Jay-z/Kanye aren’t doing shows for their health, they can’t rely on ‘The Throne’ to recoup.
Listen to ‘Run this town’ Jay-z said “I lost a flip for five stacks.” So, now the recouping begins, Once again, make an album for what? Just to satisfy fans, that end NEVER buying albums in the first place.
