The Roots are back in the studio (as if they ever left), and are set to release their 14th album. Yesterday, drummer ?uestlove spilled the beans via Twitter and announced the title. Intoxicating choice.

When are we going to admit that The Roots are wack? Just asking. I mean seriously, is everyone afraid to say that their best days were over a decade ago?
How many of us are still bumping Undun or any of their last 5 albums? Please, let’s be real
Questlove’s ego has ruined the career of what could have been one of Hip Hop’s greatest lyricists ever… Yet, the average person on the street still doesn’t know who Black Thought is… 14 albums deep!!!
The Roots’ new album is going to come and go like exactly like the last 5.
I’ll say it loud… THE TIPPING POINT was The Roots’ last good album.
Let Black Thought go solo and deliver us the classic album that was promised since Masterpiece Theater!
