Is it gonna be just Ross and Neyo on Maybach Music 4? Those songs are the highlights of his albums. Normally he got guest on it but all this says is Neyo. Maybe its hush hush until it drops?
I don’t care bout track 3. Dre? So what. Jay? I expect a fire verse as usual. Track 6 tho will be something I look forward too. 3stacks has been handing out verses more frequently these few months. Let’s see how he does.
Other than that I expect a standard Ross album. Few quality beats. Few repetitive ones. The word “Bawse” repeated several times. Ross knows what his fans want. Not a lot of other artist do.

Deeper Than Rap still holds up, as does Teflon Don, but it’s not really about making “timeless” classic albums. It’s about making the “hottest” album of the year. You want timeless music that’s not “hot”? Cop a Roots album.

As far as this album goes, looks like the greatest album ever. 3 Kings will be the greatest song of all time, sixteen with Dre 3K sounds fire, as does Diced Pineapples.
This is truly a masterpiece and will be the greatest album of this century.

Continuing with what both of you said… All the greats have always built their own brand and that is a good part of what establishes the greatness in an artist regardless of genre, but echoing B. Dot you CAN’T be considered one of the best if you don’t evolve. As much as I see the potential in his abilities and ear for music his cookie cutter formula for the masses doesn’t allow for that type of growth. All his albums have certain bangers we all go back to… But imagine if we got an album full of Ross on that “All the money in the world” joints the AM music joints… There must be a happy medium. Looking forward to only track 3 and 14(T- minus on the beat!). A Rick Ross project is only as good as it’s features which is why Teflon Don was not completely terrible. But as if niggas are actually saying Ross is the “ONE OF THE GREATEST LYRICISTS OF ALL TIME” or “MMG is the only collective of rappers putting out quality rap music”. Ross has been releasing the same type of shit for a while now and he occasionally drops a good verse but is mediocre for the most part. I give credit to Ross for being a good promoter cuz him and that nigga Khaled are good at hyping shit up and creating a good buzz for themselves. Unfortunately niggas get caught up in that buzz and they begin to start speaking nonsense as well as dickride hard.

@gtfomike The albums that Ross has put out have had incredible production quality and are thoroughly entertaining. At the end of the day all these musical artists are supposed to entertain. Lyrically Ross delvers. On his mixtape songs it is less about the lyrics more about the musicality. The albums on the other hand have been lyrically exceptional. In terms of the three singles, Touch’n spins on the radio regularly and is getting plenty of BDS. I personally dont like it but it is for females. So Sophisticated is a banger and Hold Me Back is a hood/summer anthem. I believe Ross has covered all of his bases. well executed. Tell me what you think.
