  17. T.singletary says:

  18. Carlito says:

ye better deliver. his features been WACK this year. new god flow is the best thing he’s dropped in 2012. new god flow >>> mercy, cold, i don’t like, birthday song. but it’s still boutta be a CRUEL SUMMER.

  19. ddave says:

But watch the haters dick ride when the album turns out to be a classic.

  20. X says:

I’m almost scared of this album. I’ve been trying not to get my expectations up too high lately, because that shit ruins albums. If you didn’t know Jay and Kanye were gonna drop an album last year and you just picked up Watch The Throne when someone you work with told u to check it out, you would have thought it was pretty fuckin cool. If you psyched yourself up for a year anticipating the Greatest Show on Earth, bought your tickets early and downloaded it at midnight when it came out, you probably thought that shit was pretty terrible.

But with Act II, I really don’t know if I can temper the expectations. I’d say there’s about a 75% chance that it doesn’t come out in the next five years. But in the event of the 25% coming through, I’ll be completely expecting “all time greatest” kind of shit.

  21. 3rdeyeopus says:

15 tracks 4 of them are under 3 min 2 under 2 minutes and a bunch of collabs ?? im already disappointed …. nigga had us waiting all this time for some bullshit …

  22. hazz says:

Jay Elect has been in my ipod for the last 3-4 years so this will just add on to a already great elect playlist… If it never comes out i’m fine with that.

  23. slick says:

these bootleggers are slippin why can’t they steal this shit and put it on the net? did he record it in the mercer hotel too?

  24. STINKMEANER says:

YEAH SON THIS THE MUSIC I ROLL INTO A BLUNT AND SMOKE UP

  25. Realniggashit says:

this nigga’s lazier than Juelz Santana……………………….shit never coming out

  30. slick says:

he aint even sweatin rap. he’s fucking a billionaire

  31. BRu says:

Will check it out when or if it drops…but I have no high hopes for it! He’s talented but he’s lazy & he’s not a good songwriter. When he dropped the Full Version of Dear Moleskin, I knew he would never materialize into what the fans would want him to. It was so underwhelming to tease us with that track for 2 years and give us a 24 bar record with 4 minutes of instrumental afterwards. SMH…Dude is lame! Sorry

  32. DJ Semtex's Prosthetic says:

wheres that nas collabo, whatevs TYBG

  33. Don Bleek says:

If the tracklist is accurate, then it is a nice line-up. Sounds like the album is going to be dope. ‘Act II: Patents of Nobility’ was actually handed in to the staff over at Roc Nation this past March 9 (Biggie’s Day). I still remember, during his secret show at The Box, Jay-Z announced that Jay Electronica was officially signed to Roc Nation. http://yodonbleekraps.com/

  34. 3rdRail says:

Well we’ve already heard track #6 Shiny Suit Theory.

  35. NoSoup4Yu says:

Whatever, I’ll believe it when i see it. I remember jeezy posted a pic of his tracklist, and the album didn’t come out til several months later

  36. koO says:

OMGOMGOMGOMGOGMOMGOMG. I’ve been FIENDING for this + the new MADVILLAIN. Finally it’s around the corner o/

  37. meezy says:

NEW ILLUMIATI!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i swear thats a title one of those trolls who make up track lists would come up with!!

  38. YunG based god says:

jay electronica is lazier than “tunechi baby”

  39. RedRocBoy says:

Lord please give us this gift. Copping two copies.

  40. Blaxdon says:

can’t wait this nigga da god

  41. G-Cass says:

This album sounds scary as fuck it’s obviously gonna be fucking incredible but conspiracy theorists are gonna have a fucking FIELD DAY when this drops. ‘Nights of the Roundtable’ fuck that lol I can’t fucking wait.

  42. graffiti bandit says:

Please God let this see the light of day before I die…

  44. Collar Cali says:

No words til it ACTUALLY drops!

  45. Lawrence B says:

This will either be a classic or a total flop. Can’t see it being in the middle. Too much anticipation.

  46. Devante says:

Also I’m confused as to how are you judging the album by reading the tracklist

  47. Roc Nation Employee says:

This will NOT get a relase date! BUT… It will be droping with NO notice sometime from August-November at midnight only exclusive on iTunes…

  48. LukeCage says:

    Hope this isn’t finalized.

  49. The Real says:

Crazy song titles and crazy features.

  50. the wizard says:

nas took 2years to make illmatic … jay e took 3 to make this .. lets c how this plays out

  51. […] Thread(s) Rap Radar :: Jay Electronica Act 2: Patents Of Nobility Tracklist "If music were a woman, I'd be desperate to fuck her." – Mikael

  52. Mike Jones says:

    Fuck a Track list!!!!

    Deliver some music…

  53. The Professional says:

About FUCKING TIME. Now can we get a Release date? and what happen to Call of Duty?

  54. HPS says:

@G-CASS Nights of the Roundtable refers to Jay Elect’s relationship with Kate Rothschild, as she is the owner of Roundtable Records, where jay has been recording in London.

  55. D says:

It’s actually been 20 months by my count… November 2010. just sayin

  56. @HPS yeah i’m aware of Roundtable Records i’m from London, I know Jay has some kind of publishing deal there too. ‘Roundtable’ can be seen as some bullshit to conspiracy nuts tho

  57. JEFAN says:

@ROCNATIONEMPLOYEE if they release it with no date exclusively on itunes some random midnight, that has to be the dumbest thing i’ve ever heard. Unless exclusively they didn’t want jay to pop off and speak to the masses. I hope he blows up huge, maybe he’ll get some ambition to release what’s really in that head of his.

  58. the Gods strike Back says:

the Five Percenters strike back. thanks Jay. time to enlighten these retards and bring the Gods back to the forefront of hip-hop like in the ’90s. Album of the Year. and if your dumb ass doesn’t know the Five Percent Nation, you will once this album drops

  59. Dee says:

Judging from the comments here…..if this gets to deep it’s done for after the first 4 bars…might have to dumb it down and make this…well…..sound like everybody else.

  60. bleakshootrz says:

  63. R says:

Jay Elect going Plat Joe Camel Hating cause he knows this!!!

  64. Ummah_es_Salaam says:

jay should take all the time he needs to drop an atomic bomb on the genre, then follow it up wit another fix cuz the music shit is like boy and hopefully there’s some truth to that nas collabo album and have mos def featuring on that biatch. Jay the the truth coming from a true place. I wish him his aspirations.

  65. Ummah_es_Salaam says:
