    As an outsider (South African) looking in, it baffles that when black ppl outside of America are embracing, celebrating and proud of what it is that makes us black … that Black Americans are not only not interested in catching up with the rest of the world, but rather going the opposite way and running away from what it is being black.
    This is neither hip hop nor creative … coz if I where to ask those who say this is creative they’d battle … but coz its foreign to what is black its automatically deemed creative lol, while a white man would fall off his chair larfing if they hurd this being called creative or art
    Something creative is 2 Chainz album cover, which gets the message across while embracing hip hop (something black in culture) and staying in subject with the matter in hand … Something creative is 50 Cents BFISD album cover which gets the message across (Half his face burning/destructing within) while embracing hip hop and staying in subject with the matter in hand. No1 no matter how hard they try can find a significant link to hip hop, Good music artists or the album tittle Cruel Summer.
    Its quite disturbing how Black Americans fear and look up white ppl.
    To end it … Black Americans need to quickly find the ability to know the difference between embracing what it is being black and celebrating it from being stereotypical.

As a South African yo do not know OUR culture beyond from what u see and read on tv, but u fail to realize that “black” culture in america and “white” culture in america are pretty much identical except for a few variants. Why? because a combination of our cultures have built American culture, and this cover has everything to do with hip hop. Hip being a responsibly new genre invoked thought disgust and downright disapproval so does this cover.
