Missy and Timbaland appeared on The Angie Martinez Show this afternoon to debut two new records “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat“. Here’s what you missed during their discussion.
Break 1: Missy and Timbo speak on their absence from music and returning to the game.
Break 2: The alleged Aaliyah album, the single and stating they have never been contacted for it. They also weigh in on Drake’s tattoo.
Break 3: They speak on Chris Lighty and the importance of life and keeping in contact with loved ones.

Fuck Harvey Levin and anybody that loves his celebrity news website. First you prematurely pronounce the impending death of Lil Wayne (Weezy Forgives. We Don't.) and then you try to link the horrific actions of one of the Boston Marathon culprits to our culture? "DEAD BOMBING SUSPECT: HEAVY INTO HIP HOP" You don't say? It's 2013 and most kids are into rap music. We've been penetrated pop culture, you cock suckers. "What's interesting... hip-hop lyrics are notoriously violent and often degrading to women." So our music is at fault in this tragedy? Let's be clear the only bombs my culture cosigns is DJ Funkmaster Flex's sound effects. Thirty Mile Zone is prone to post anything to get traffic. Fuck dude and his coffee cup. Get you a Rap Radar cup and drink with us in the winner's circle.
Yo Mister Cee, the people feel threatened! Soliciting prostitutes is illegal and this is the second time your private affairs have been publicized. Get some help...and a room! —B.Dot
Drake’s backing himself into a corner with that Aaliyah album. No one who worked with her is supporting it. Bad look. Probably will never come back.
On a lighter note good too see Missy back, but the tracks didn’t quite deliver. Still good, not legendary. Looking forward to hearing more tho.

It’s great to see Missy back in good form. Female rap needs a mainstream presence that isn’t corny.

seriously both these songs that came out are good for timbo being back to his old self @b.DOT

yeah, it is definitely an awkward topic for these two. Aaliyah wasn’t just an icon or a celeb, she was there friend. drake seems to be about aaliyah the way most groupies act about celebs. dude didn’t really know her, he just daydreamed about her. which is cool, but that behavior compared to people who really knew and loved her as a person, that kind of groupie behavior probably looks real fake and phony.
exactly what missy was saying, u dont want to put out work that you dont know if she would have respected.. or wanted, drake is piece of shit..
