’12 Best Mixtapes: #9 Trouble 431 Days

431 days-cover

Despite what his name suggests, Atlanta rapper Trouble found himself on the right side of the fence with Bigga Rankin on his mixtape 431 Days. The title pays homage to the amount of days he was out the bing. Now that he’s walking the right path, Trouble plants his flag on the menacing “It’s Time”. He chronicles his life on the Alley Boy-aided “ATL” but reserves his hustler tales for “Go!!”. Between rapping and trapping, the Duct Tape artist has a low tolerance for anything else. He scolds hood rats on “D.R.A.M.A” and continues his attack on 431′s best song, “U Dont Deserve Dat”. Still and all it’s pulling cards that’s Trouble’s specialty and he does it several times here (“Never Understand”, “Let Them Tell It”, “Characters”). Only time will tell what the next 431 Days brings.

  1. 5 years ago XXL fired Elliott Wilson for to much dicksucking and he later had throat problems for swallowing too much sperm says:

Let’s be real this isn’t a best of it’s just your personal favorites SMH

We already know YN is gonna have William and Robert in the top 5

  2. Bang says:

The biggest mistake this guy made was beefing with T.I. and Jeezy. Beefing with people who run your city musically is career suicide. and after that “I’ll show these folks on TAPE how you a Sitting DUCK” line his crew might become the next D4L

  3. How Wonderful... says:

I liked the mixtape. I thought i t was good.

  4. Slim Baller says:

    @Bang I consign

As for the tape, it was good but not one of the best

  5. The Other P says:

One of B.Dot’s personal favs. Sorry but hardly anyone is checking for trouble, this nigga isn’t hot in the A like that. Like an above poster mentioned, beefing with Jeezy & Tip isn’t the best career look for a rapper looking to come up in Atl right now. Hoodspots & Strip Club performances is what it’ll be for trouble until he drops some legit “pay attention to me” fiyah.

    1. B.Dot says:

this nigga isn’t hot in the A like that.
      ^
What does that have to do with the quality of the project?

  6. CaliSteppin says:

Tip murked him and crew with addresses. Hes dumb as hell too cuz Tip was trying to blow him up.. He had him on his mixtape and on Big Beast

  7. J says:

“Now that he’s walking path, Trouble plant his flag on the menacing,”Time”.”

    Huh?

  8. The Other P says:

@ B.Dot I went back and listened to the 431 to see if I missed something & it still isn’t sounding like something to bump in the whip.

As far as being “hot in the A”…no ATL rapper has ever had to leave the A to blow up and then come back hot. Atl Trap rappers, that end up hot all over, have a buzz in the street(as cliche as it sounds) beforehand. I think I mentioned something about Pill not being hot in the A years ago on this site & surprise, surprise the nigga gets MMG behind him & still can’t blow up.

Question: Is that producer “B.Dot” who produced track 14 Never Understand Feat Bun-B & RR’s B.Dot one in the same?

    1. B.Dot says:

      that’s respectable. but no relation.

  9. myG says:

this nigga is dumb he should never try diss t.i hahahahah t.i did him and alley boy like cass did meek

  10. Benja says:

dont know much about dude at all. didn’t catch this mixtape but may have to check it out.
