We had a whole lot of superstars on this stage here tonight. But this is… Papoose's house? We're all still reeling that the 20th anniversary of Hip-Hop's Super Bowl featured the Nacirema Dream as a headliner. Damn you Kendrick Lamar and your generous ways. Yeah it's hip-hop to bum rush the show but c'mon Pap you know you didn't deserve that look. And you gave even less fucks by performing a new song. C'mon fam. You've paid a lot of dues through the years but this was the big dawg time in the program. Don't disrespect the game in your pursuit for fame. Oh well, Brooklyn took it.
Speaking of BK, Fab had a master plan of bringing Lil Kim and Foxy Brown back together again. But when it was time to make history, Fox Boogie was nowhere to be found. Where was you at? Wack.
its a shame no one cares about mac miller after all the bullshit hes put out recently cause this actually sounds pretty good
Check out the dude that opened for him.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHxEMa0MnLw&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Underrated
You have to give him credit for writing rhymes that are that intricate and also performing them to the T.
I feel like people are always desperately looking for the next white rapper to elevate, to the point where it looks easy for them to break. It takes hell and earth to move for rappers to get put on and see radio love, and they put constant work in. Let an Asher Roth, Mac Miller, or Macklemore try, it’s straight to the goddamn radio for those boys, and they break while they’re independent.. It’s like the rap game has an affirmative action clause. Not saying some of these guys aren’t kinda nice, but I do think if they weren’t white they would be grouped in with the 1 billion other cats who are way nicer on the mic and can only hope to stumble into a gimmick or catchy hook.
