I thought Jay was gonna break down 4 a min tbh….
    That’s all I have 2 say

  2. Belly says:

This is getting kinda corny now.

  3. Genesis says:

    ^^^^
It looked like it…. Never seen him get that close….. Damn, I can’t wait to hear this album…… Mad because I’m building expectation, and expectation almost always ends in disappointment…. But this is life, right?

  4. FTW says:

    Don’t be so self-defeating.

I lived with my Pops and he still didn’t teach me how to be a man, raise kids, or treat women.

Had to learn by observation and trial and error like everybody else, but that’s just life.

    FTW

  5. u had her in ur 40’s though… I feel what he’s saying, but I had other relatives to teach me and I didnt want to be like him so I became immersed in the child care field.

  6. ZoomZoomDad-Otis says:

Im late to the party. So you cant get the album in stores?

  7. Dashing says:

Looks like we’re gonna have some depth on this record. And lack of a “single” means hopefully a cohesive album.

  8. StarFox64 says:

    no summer anthem yet hov??

  9. Nathaniel says:

the record is more important for all the young black males with no father, trying to learn how to be a man and treat a woman and father a child, properly.

it’s not a vanity party for jay z. y’all do know millions of young niggas are gonna hear this record and relate, right?

let’s think a little less narrow, sons.

  10. stephen says:

  11. Joe Nasty says:

i love the marketing for this album. it is so effective.
i’m excited for this release and i’m not even a huge hov fan.
    jay-z’s team is amazing.

also rick rubin is the shit. if you think he just lays around the couch, do some research.

  12. gerold says:

For a minute there it looked like Jay was going to ask Gandolf for a hug. But Gandie was too comfy in that couch to get up. Nonetheless, I see where he is coming from.

  13. gpatrick15 says:

With the buildup to the album and the lack of rap features outside of Rick Ross, this album is shaping up to be more American Gangster than Blueprint 3. Of course, we cannot say much until the album drops, but my expectations are exceedingly high. I hope he drops something other than lyrics today. I want to see the cover art, and more importantly, the production credits. Hopefully we’ll get some classic Kanye and Just Blaze on at least a few cuts. And hopefully Swizz Beats isn’t yelling and screaming all over his beats, but you know I’m wrong on that one. I know Rick Rubin, Pharrell, and Timbaland will do their thing. I hope the album is as cohesive as possible, and in order to do that all of the producers have to be on one accord.

  14. gpatrick15 says:

Soon as I post that I see that Kanye produced “Picasso Baby.” Hopefully it’s that soulful Kanye that put him on the map and not techno Ye from Yeezus.

  15. The Brain Trust says:

Lmaooooooooo @Gerold called Rick Rubin Gandolf.

    Hurts.when.breathe.

  16. MMG says:

    @Gerold Lollll Gandolf

  17. Dashing says:

@Nathaniel, Co-sign and @gpatrick on the Jay and Just Blaze shit. That almost always works. Even on Kingdom come, the JB tracks were the best shit.

If this album is more like AG than BP3 I’ll be pretty happy. Outside of “Hello Brooklyn” that album was damn near flawless…

  18. Niggalas cage says:

this is like watchin a nigga get therapy from santa

  21. The Thinker says:

Damn he put what I am currently going thru with my own daughter. “Paranoia of fatherhood” peace to all you fathers out there who are raising children with no clue about what the fuck were doing cuz we neva seen it done cant wait for the album

  22. Devante says:

What Just Blaze ain’t apart of this..

  23. Devante says:

Why Just Blaze ain’t apart of this?

  24. Bozhena says:

    waste of money!

  25. rebeltko says:

Instead of having expectations for this album, just listen to it and see if you enjoy it and then ask yourself if you like it. When you put expectations on somebody elses work, its like your listening for what you think it should sound like or your listening to hear what you would’ve done. Thats why expectations is not what you should’ve have going into listening to an album because thats leads to only listening out for things you dont like and almost completely ignoring anything that sounds dope.
