how does he feel abt people who want him to rap abt the same stuff he rapped abt in 1996 (now that he is no longer that man he was in 1996)
Does he have a secret child ?

  5. edi says:

THIS HAPPENS ONCE IN A BLUE MOON……………

  6. Peco says:

I like how @ the end of the part 1, HOV shit on some NY artist and 105.1 edited it, I wonder who the artist Charlagmane mentioned that made Jay say they not ready to be shouted out yet but they “makin noise” hmmmm

  7. ZoomZoomDad-Otis says:

    Finally they mention Bleek.

  8. edi says:

    hot 97>>>>>>>>>>>>

    they asked the same questions

  9. John John says:

How come C God didn’t ask why Jay is wearing the 5% Flag around his neck???

  10. 80Griots says:

@ John John he actually did ..

  11. hah says:

    hood questions hahaaaaaaaaa

  12. Mar-tian says:

This was a way better interview that Hot97’s. You could tell that Hov eventually felt comfortable enough to share stories. I like the fact that the Breakfast Club didnt cut him off every 5 seconds like Angie did. Great interview!

  13. John John says:

    @ 80Griots

yeah thanks my bad someone else just told me too. Not sure how I missed it (15min mark).

  14. LR says:

    Charlamagne: “I’m a PinkettSmithWinfreyKnowlesCarter…”
    JAY Z: *SILENCE*

    LOL

Just yesterday, Charlamagne told Big Sean he only liked 2 SONGS on YEEZUS. JAY Z walks in the room and all of a sudden he likes 4! SMH!!!

  15. word says:

    HOT 97 IS OFFICIALLY GARBAGE

  16. bumpy johnson says:

good interview never new hov and birdman used to like chillout together back in the day ……….

  17. iDSGB says:

Good interview, Jay Z seemed less weird than the Hot 97 interview.

Jay Z kept giving C the God “This dude is actually cool” look.

  18. Capricorn Religion says:

    Great interview…..

Tho, you can feel some “Very, very, very” small shots towards Charlamagne . Like towards the end if you catch it.

    “I REALLY laughed at that”

Little subtle shit that Hov is know for but, overall great interview once again. Its funny how Baby just SHUT DOWN Wayne’s deal. That phone call must of been awkward between those two after the meeting with Jay

  19. Donn says:

Hey Jay why don’t you tell the people how much Data and private information that Samsung got from users because of your music app, that in order to download it they had to share their GPS location, they had to share their contacts and emails and even social media usernames as well as those connected to ur account.

Smh, used to be my favorite rapper. Wake up people

  20. Dre says:

@Donn So This Is The Only App That Asks You That Huh? They Don’t Need No App To Find Out Your Location, Contacts, Private Information Etc. Those Things Are Given Out Willingly On Social Media Everyday. At The End Of The Day Its Just An App, By The Way That’s Not The Only App That Asked That Either And I’m Pretty Sure You Have Downloaded Some Of Those Apps Also

  21. StarFox64 says:

lolllll this interview was actually enjoyable to watch compared to the wretched hot 97 and that gargoyle angie…

  22. bumpy johnson says:

@ Donn Cunt , if u own a smart phone u will kno that 99% of apps / games etc u download from the app store always tell u that .u still got a choice to go with it or not ……….. WHEN IS THE FUCKERY GONNA END

  23. Anti-Lollipop KId says:

Spoiled losers mentality, God damn that shit true!!!! Rappers looking for handouts lol, create your own movement and if you can’t you prolly suck at rapping. Real talk Jay, good interview.

  24. RRCoolJ says:

They did well. No softball questions and OD giggling like Angie and Flex do

  25. Northwest says:

This is dope but why ain’t no one post about the kanye west yeezus leftover song “reckless youth”? Best song within the last ten years http://www.soundcloud.com/Love_At_First_Sound/recklessyouth

  26. addyourcomments says:

    Black Branch Rickey.

  27. 7thEmerson says:

Alright this shit needs to be cleared up about that app so people like Donn and Killer Mike can be more informed:

Most of the apps have those permissions, but this app especially needed it because it was meant to run/play the music simultaneously with most of what you do on the phone.

Say for example: You’re playing the song and you’re browsing on the net at the same time. Then a phone call comes in and you have to pick it up. In order for the app to run, it needed permission to the browser, phone, and contacts because the app is running. It needed to filter it through to show you who was calling and show, while continuously running. If it didnt have that, it would cut off when you went on the net or as soon as the call came through. This is how it is built, like a lot of apps out there.

This whole “Big Brother needs to ease up” shit is tiring. NEWSFLASH: Snowden or no Snowden, Big Brother was always watching and always will. If you use the internet, you’re being monitored. Use a phone? Same thing.

People need to get over it. If yall want to stop the monitoring, dont use the tech.

  28. TImeChange says:

a lot better interview than angie’s. less ass kissing type questions.
thats why you need charlamagne to ask those hood questions that we all wanna know.
yea,jay didnt want to go into details about his %5 beliefs ,that could hurt sales, lol.

  29. DMVinyourchick says:

Ha gr8 interview charlamagne asks great questions and isnt afraid to push the envelope

  30. mia-LIL SHOTTA says:

Fuck the NFL nigga…Cooperate MFs don’t want to see us GROW as a people…HIP HOP started in the late 70’s so hip hop been around for atleast 40 yrs, Around the sametime JAY was born…HIP POP IS GROWN just like a human…AIN’T no better spokeperson for hip hop than HOVA….TAKEOVA niggaz,OBAMA say CHANGES…Meaning change the way we think, The way we EAT, The way we TREAT eachother….AS a BLACK CULTURE hip pop could be one of the most strongest MUSIC CULTURE in AMERICA HISTORY an BEYOND

  31. Nathaniel says:

i hope y’all were paying attention to what he said about pushing the genre forward, leaving def jam to “do for self”, the reasoning behind being an agent for all these black athletes, and that 5%er medallion.

it’s all connected. and y’all thought knowledge of self was all talking supreme wisdom and standing on corners rapping mathematics.

no. that isn’t why master fard muhammad came.

  32. Donn says:

Sad that we are conditioned to feeling we have no power. Look at you guys, I thought HipHop was about standing up for what’s wrong and what’s right

Your say is that you have no power so just let it go cus Big Brother is always watching and there’s nothing you can do about it. True revolutionaries smh..

  33. Tron says:

@NorthWest… wow you actually bit everything from the yeezus sound to “your uncle death” That shit is HIIIIlarious… Back to the drawing board cause NO ONE will wanna hear that shit..

  34. Glob3Traht3r says:

Damn, should have asked him about Joe Budden and what really happened and then where is EM!

  35. 7thEmerson says:

    @Donn

No one said give up power. That’s a foolish assumption.

Big Brother is always watching, so instead of getting wrapped up in that, focus on progress. Progression of self, progression of family, progression of security in life. Just because a lot of stuff is being monitored doesnt mean I’m going to stop living life. I’m not doing anything wrong. A lot of these resources are built in ways that could have been primitive like the AOL days, but it has to be understood that in order for progress, there are caveats. Are you doing something wrong?

You’re posting on a PUBLIC forum where all your words are viewable by anyone. You participate in social media.

Surely you must have known that you were being watched by anyone at anytime. If you didnt realize that before and moved on from it, I dont know what to tell you then……..

  36. KAYBEE says:

i never liked Jay Z, but that nigga is a real nigga after watching this

  37. d says:

Lol. Samsung and all downloading apps all invade peoples privacy terms when they push agree. Rapradar also gives your information to third parties.

Good interview just dont like how the interview is edited. Shows jay aint trying to show the vulnerable side.

  38. Oz says:

That was a dope interview, giving real answers and not holding back like a lot of those insecure rappers. Hov seems to be a real nigga in person and keeping in 100% in sync with his lyrics. I also liked the fact that he answered that he developed himself as a reaction to the “Dame Dash” question.

  39. Har-magedon, G.O.D. says:

    PEACE

    Real talk, honest like X’s

    PEACE

  40. Kemosabi says:

@Donn take your head out of your ass, you’re acting like you’ve just discover something new and amazing, there may be others that don’t realize this but big brother has been out there. You think it’s about a jayz app bro? Everything you do on your smartphone is info. IG, FB, Twitter, this site lol. Don’t be simple minded its not about an app

  41. TM says:

Jay and 50 give the best interviews.

  42. rahiemshabazz says:

THIS INTERVIEW WAS WAY WAY WAY BETTER!!!! THAT HOT 97 INTERVIEW WAS SO FUCKIN’ WACK!!!! BITCH WAS JUST GIGGLIN’ AND LAUGHIN’ FOR NO DAMN REASON!!!! ALL HER JAY INTERVIEWS ARE ALWAYS THE SAME!!!! THAT’S THE REASON WHY I DON’T EVER WANNA SEE A RAPRADAR/JAY-Z INTERVIEW!!!! CUZ YN AND B.DOT WOULD SOUND LIKE TWO GIGGLY SCHOOL GIRLS AROUND THE HIGH SCHOOL QUARTERBACK!!!!

    ………….HA!!!! AM I LYING BRIAN???

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  46. Stiz Grimey says:

“Kanyes lost song” rofllll fuk outta here… not the best marketing plan

  47. Judge Dredd says:

  49. Emass says:

  50. Loch says:

@mac diesel I don’t agree they were both great.jay and Angie have a good relationship and she can ask more questions.I like how they relate. They got inside jokes.A lot of jay’s best interviews were on Angie’s show, but yeah this was a great interview.

Loch J Cole @jcolenc Ft. TLC Crooked Smile Freestyle: http://youtu.be/YvFJjY0asSQ

  51. RealNiggaShit says:

They asked Hov real questions i’m so glad they wasn’t on the BS. Thank B.C

  52. HK says:

Very different interview than Angie Martinez. They were both interesting. Angie’s seemed more familiar and awkward at the same time. This unveiled some good stories about Weezy/Baby, Yong Chris, etc. but in all fairness, 105’s reflected 3 different POVs as far as questions.

As far as the app, not surprised but other apps have similar requirements (see Path). And if Samsung gave him $5M+ mediabuys on The Finals, etc. they want a return on that spend. Not saying it’s good or bad it just is what it is.

  53. Dessy says:

take that damn chain off. i don’t care how rich and famous you are, it’s disrespectful to just throw it on
