Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ winning spree continues with another platinum plaque. The duo’s civil rights anthem has clocked 1,052,000 downloads. As for their album The Heist, its currently at 890,389 copies sold. Congratulations to the entire Shark Face Gang.

YEs, he’s independent. He’s not selling albums out the trunk of his car, so he hired ADA to distribute his album. Same goes for radio. He hired them to handle their radio singles.
When it’s all said and done, Mack and Ryan’s publishing checks will look like winning Powerball tickets . They own 100% of their publishing and abstain from samples too.
