Kendrick Lamar + Ab-Soul + Schoolboy Q + Jay Rock = Black Hippy.
A few weeks ago, XXL unveiled their new cover with the Black Hippy crew. The tagline suggested that collective was a trio instead of a quartet. Ab-Soul threatened to leave the group if other publications followed suit. Backstage at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse concert, ScHoolBoy Q and Jay Rock shared their thoughts on the erroneous cover line.
Why leave the group?
Why not just boycott doing interviews with those u feel disrespected by
i doubt ab soul was serious. but he’s prolly tired of hearing that and i dont blame em. kendrick is the best out imo but he’s not the leader of black hippy, no one is, he’s just gained the most success out the group
