Pusha T Talks King Push

Neptune Sound.

Miss Info had Pusha T in the hot seat last night for an interview at the SoHo Apple store. During his sit-down, he talked about next album King Push and locking in with mentor Pharrell Williams for 20 days. No word yet if he’s still omitting features.

Been a Clipse fan but MNIMN album is not that “bringing hip hop back” album, I like a few songs but overall album is ok, it’s not fuckin with ANY Clipse albums, YURK!

Y’all niggaz handing that “classic” stamp like flyers lol I fucks with Pusha but this compared to Clipse album is just “ok” sorry might be coz he the older one but Malice is stronger lyrically and would t imitate 2 Chainz flow on damn near every feature

      • From a stand point of a complete body of work front to back that’s what u call a classic. No skiping through this album.. And you cant just listen to this album, it has to be studied. Anybody that came from the world that he came from and has surpass that lifestyle LITERALLY can appreciate how he tells these stories.. This album cant be listened to a couple times and liked.. Its deeper then rap..

I’m sorry but Clipse album content was harder than this album or more “street” if that’s where you goin’, I like Clipse because of the creative way they were talkin about selling dope but at the same time feeling ashamed (I’m not you feat. Jada and Style) or even more recently in “Footsteps”, like I said I”m a Clipse fan and sorry but joints like the Kevin Cossom and Jeezy assisted track, the Kelly Rowland Mase imitation track are definitely SKIPPABLE but opinions are personal

  • yeah

just the sound of the neptunes coming together again is enormous, pusha better make great use of that time.

You can’t order a classic even when all the elements are there…you need to be doing something else than touring and f”””ing biatch to get inspiration…life is inspiration, and all these guys seem to lack the “real” life that put them where they are now…reason we love many of them first albums…

I think My Name Is My Name was a solid release, but features with The Fake Rick Ross & 2 Chainz should have been left off. The track with Ab-Liva was disappointing as well. I know they got better tracks together then that.

Album was good but will you bump it 3 years from now like it just came out?
