Is Dame, Kanye or Jay supporting Beans while he’s locked up? You can’t pick and choose who you support in prison if they are your friends are you have history with that person.

    1. ThaRealHater says:

Ur a brand new nigga out here. Beans chose to do his own thing and felt like he was owed more than what he deserved and felt to diss niggaz who helped him. Biggs didnt. Know your history.

      1. T says:

Fam you thought you dropped knowledge? You must be one of those Jay fans who get offensive when someone says anything thats not in Hov favor. Do my research? You do yours Hov and Dame both did a lot of funny biz while beans was locked, opened accounts in his name and the list goes on. And those aren’t my words those or Beans words in recent and old interviews. But the main point is hold your Fam down no matter who it is or when it is. Hov dissed Beans, Beans dissed Hov but thye still suppose to family

        1. marty mcfly says:

When did Hov diss beans? and why would he ever open any accounts in Beans name when he has 100 times more money then Beans will ever have?

          1. T says:

The fuck you talking when did Hov diss Beans? LOL niggas catch amnesia when comes to Hov old days…. In recent records Hov took light jabs at Beans,,, Do the homework listen to the records and stop only hearing what you want to hear. I won’t list the records use google it helps

          2. marty mcfly says:

What records are you talking about?

          3. marty mcfly says:

If your talking about records after Beans dissed Jay then that makes sense. Even at that point Jay still making shit like Why I Love You. Thats not a diss, he’s basically saying what an idiot Beans is for dissing the nigga that gave him numerous opportunities in life.

          4. T says:

Stop going back to the business aspect my dude, Now I see why Beans was saying shit like he can’t even be mad at Jay or Dame there is no family it’s just business. I’m talking about friends, you talking opportunities, to different topics fam… Loyalty over Royalty… I respect Dame for calling niggas out but maybe someone should start calling him out too…

          5. marty mcfly says:

So you think Jay and Dame wasn’t Beans friends? Like what exactly did Jay do to Beans that would make him release multiple diss records?

          6. T says:

You either trolling or looking for a Hip Hip history lesson cause no disrespect my dude but you asking me questions that you should already know… Watch the interviews, read the interviews, do the homework.. Watch the Angie interview with Beans which is a recent one and you’ll get somewhat of a understanding… The interview is even on here search for it… and you’ll see why Beans felt some type of way…

          7. marty mcfly says:

Why would I do all that when you speaking on it right now? Either you know what you talking about or not.

          8. T says:

I know what i’m talking about but this is the purpose of a site like RR you find out things pertaining to Hip Hop…. And Beans, Hov, and Dame or Hip Hop the time you taking out to ask me simple questions you can watch the interview I just told you about on here… If I tell you what Beans said you’ll still have question for my answer, so watch the interview and let Beans explain to you why he felt some type of way towards Hov and Dame…

          9. marty mcfly says:

So basically Jay didnt do shit to Beans. I’ve seen the interviews and Beans sounds like he’s caught up in his feelings. They way Jay answered in court to the question of “will you be responsible for Beans whereabouts”? and Jay saying no. That makes complete sense and Beans knows that. Its not even possible for Jay to be responsible for Beans whereabouts and when the court asks you questions they mean in the literal sense. Beans knows that.

          10. marty mcfly says:

Beans should be happy that Jay stepped in to help Beans for so many years and through so many different situations. Jay tried to tell Beans to keep his black ass out the streets and outta jail and focus on business… Beans decided to still think and move like an idiot would.

          11. marty mcfly says:

The only reason the court would even suggest something so ridiculous is so they can set up Jayz in the future. If Beans went out and did some stupid shit later, they could say hey see here it says Jayz is responsible for Beans whereabouts… Of course Jay caught that bullshit and said NO and Beans is smart enough to know why.

          12. GetReal says:

you the type of nigga to go down for life cuz of some shit your mans grow the fuck up and realize that business doesn’t equate friendship or your ass is in for a rude awakening

    2. marty mcfly says:

Jay did show up to court and was a character witness for Beans and he stood up there and said in court that Beans was a businessman and was turning his life around and he could vouch for his character. Then Beans came home and made a diss song at Jay apparently because the courts asked Jay if he would take responsibility for Beans actions going forward and Jay said no. After the diss record, Jay then put Beans on American Gangster. Beans then again dissed Jay after that song. At that point Jay dont have to do shit for Beans anymore or anybody else.

      1. dipset4eva says:

ol jayz sent beanie down to the hole. the judge asked Jayz if he can
be responsible for sigels whereabouts. jayz said no. so sigel got sent
to the hole 23 on 1…. dont believe me check beanie say it himselfhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQW3uM7eyCU

        1. T says:

My points Exactly… Beans felt the need to lash out because niggas put him in that position to lash out

          1. marty mcfly says:

Put him in what position? Success?

        2. marty mcfly says:

But that makes sense though. The question is “would Jay be responsible for Beans whereabouts? Of course Jay would say no to that. Beans believes they would let him go free just like that? I doubt it but again, in that situation the right answer to that particular question would be no because that could back fire on Jayz.

        3. marty mcfly says:

And how did Jay send him down the hole when its Beans that got himself in his own troubles. Jay never made Beans go out and do shit that would get him locked up. Thats was Beans own decisions.

      2. T says:

You think those diss records came from no where? You think Beans just woke up and said fuck it i’m going to diss my Big Homie Hov for no reason? It’s then rap and one sided interviews… I honestly feel like Beans and Hov situation was similar to the teacher being scared that student might become the teacher… “Beans I ain’t trying to change you – just give you some game To make the transition, from the street to the fame” Is what Hov said about Beans and Beans response was “where was the game”… Beans felt need to lash out back then, he ain’t just drop those diss records for no reason…

        1. marty mcfly says:

Again though, since you speak as if you know the situation… What did Jay do to Beans? I could tell you the things Jay did to help Beans when they met for the first time in 1998 and then Jay gave him an opportunity to be on the Roc but what did Jay to do Beans that would give Beans reason to attack Jay lyrically?

        2. PTK says:

are you insane? nobody believes that. their relationship is enshrined in that mtv clip where beans went after dude in the club and jay went straight after him. he stayed getting beans out of trouble and putting him on but he’s a grown ass man. he kept getting in trouble even after that. beans is a clown.

        3. marty mcfly says:

You asking “Where was the game”? Beans was a Rocafella artist from 1998 to 2003 and was still with Jayz until 2007. So you mean to tell me after being around Jayz for a decade, through multiple albums and tours that Beans didnt learn shit about the game? Really

          1. T says:

Are you one of those fans who have defense for everything pertaining to Hov? Explain to me why Beans felt the need to expose the fact that while he was locked up people he considered family “Dame Dash” was opening accounts in his name and doing numerous other funny business. But you missing the point family is family hold you family down no matter what…

          2. marty mcfly says:

They did hold Beans down cause if they didnt he never woulda made it to a signed artists representing Rocafella. He woulda ended up dead or in jail as just another statistic in Philly.

        4. MassConglom says:

Niggas like Beanie are the type of dudes that’ll always focus on all the bad things someone did to them. When in actuality… all the good sh– that was done for them OUTWEIGH the bad. Consequence is another example of this type of character flaw.

    3. polopolo1 says:

Agreed, I never understood what beans ever really did for them to black ball him like they did, did they just think he was too erratic?

      1. T says:

Exactly these niggas only hear Dame and Hov stories, they refuse to listen to Beans stories… Alot of funny biz was done to Beans he even said it himself which made him lash out…

        1. GetReal says:

when the fuck did jay even speak on this all i heard was beans crying about the situation, my nigga you so self indulged in your bullshit information you really believing this shit

          1. Michael Ibbett says:

Lol self indulgence and then Some….hes talking about doing homework on these matters, and still dont know wtf hes talking about….he needs to put work in on something a little more worth while

      2. true story no lie says:

Beans kept fucking up going to jail. In business u cant be liability when major money is backing u. He went to jail before the becoming album. Great album could been promoted better if beans didnt go to the pen. They broke even with beans. In he diss jay cant bite the hand that feed u. Look where disloyalty got these guys rotten in jail.

      3. marty mcfly says:

How did they blackball him when it was them thats responsible for Beans ever putting out music in the mainstream world? Beans was still coming out doing verses at Jayz shows before and after the Roc break up so how is that blackballing?

    4. Lester Nygaard says:

They made him a millionaire, how much more do they owe him?

      1. T says:

It’s not about money fam, it’s about loyalty… You can’t pick and choose who you hold down… Beans was a soldier, he was a rider he put his life on the line for Hov and Dame… But you never hear Dame calling people out for not looking out for Beans… Beans was a solider for Hov and Dame before he was a rapper, just like Banks and Yayo was a solider for 50 it’s bigger then money… They don’t owe him money they owe him loyalty, Same goes for 50 calling Banks a hype man when that same hype man put his life on the line

        1. marty mcfly says:

When did Beans “put his life on the line for Jayz and Dame”? Beans was never a soldier in the streets for Jay or Dame. Jay and Dame didnt even know Beans until 1998.

          1. T says:

When? use google… He even saved Kanye ass… I’m not giving you know it all Hip Hop fans a rap history lesson… Beans was loyal and a friend, Just Like Dame calling ‘Ye out is the way he should be calling others out for Beans

          2. marty mcfly says:

When did Beans “put his life on the line” for Jayz?

          3. Beewirks says:

he never answered this question lol…im over here dying..cats got a warped sense of ethics and morality

          4. Michael Ibbett says:

Lol and when was banks a soldier for 50 for that matter… he needs to write for WWE, hes got decent story lines tbh

          5. T says:

When was Banks a solider for 50? LOL you can be that stupid but maybe you are. All of the Unit was soldiers for 50 idiot. Them dudes could have lost their lives defending and fighting Fifs beefs. You Hip Hop fans cant be that dumb. For guys who say they know HipHop seem to have caught amnesia. You think them dudes were wearing them bullet proof vest just for fashion huh? You think them fights the Unit had were staged too? Every boss needs a soldier to protect their ass. You think Hov or Fif keeps them guys around for no reason? The only time them guy arent around is when they stop being soldiers. It’s documented Hip Hop not WWE clown.

          6. Michael Ibbett says:

50 brought banks in as a rapper, that Shit goes with the territory, yes, as far as protecting himself goes. But he was a rapper first and foremost. His “soldiers” were smurf and them, not the talented teenage rapper that was too young to buy liquor. You have no clue what you’re talking about.

        2. Nigel says:

          Beans is that you

  2. Michael Ibbett says:

Give this a blackout…..that was his employer, its not liked he lobbied for him cuz he liked him, like he wanted to give a promotion, he saw money in it obviously, for himself….it’d be nice if he did reach out, but doesn’t seem necessary
And when was the last time they even spoke? If they already fell out then wtf…acting like he abandoned his right hand or something is corny as fuck

    1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

I mean, kanye IS NOT obligated to do anything. But i do understand where Dame is coming from.

      1. Michael Ibbett says:

Are they even cool anymore though anyways? Biggs is rich right? Dont need commissary, didnt need a lawyer from his former employee? The whole things funny though, as far as kanye being someone thats called out for not looking out for someone thats locked up. Hes so far gone from that. He’s a fancy highclass French born millionaire in his own head. I doubt the problem in America concerning black incarceration rates is even a passing, iota of a thought for him…hes somewhere feeling and smelling fabrics in Venice right now.

        1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

im sure biggs has money on his books. but, to be fair, there’s three sides to every story.

        2. GetReal says:

though i agree, you must have never heard of new slaves

        3. See(sic) says:

Wow do you listen to his rhymes? smh that’s crazy. New Slaves? Murder to Excellence? Jesus Christ. Go Away.

          1. Michael Ibbett says:

New slaves is about materialism, though he does have one bar that mentioned the privatization of prisons. excellence is a good song about black conditioning, thats true….I exaggerated a bit I suppose, but him as a person, not the raps, this post shouldn’t surprise anyone, is what I was saying…the drug laws are clearly, so out in the open, racist towards black people…and I wouldn’t look at Kanye, the person, to actually care about the 500,000….hes a diva…I love his music, but hes a diva…if he dont have all white linens, and specific, soft toilet paper in his dressing room he throws a fit, and sends workers all over town getting it…true story…theres a lot of rappers that actually are involved in this topic though….if im wrong I’d be happy..I just dont see him giving a heartfelt fuck

      2. dipset4eva says:

no b.dot thats were your wrong. Kanye is obligated to do something about it. i wouldnt expect you to understand because you’ve never ascribed or lived under street culture which is heavily intertwined with hip hop.

        1. Michael Ibbett says:

And kanye is? Kanye is from the street now? Kanye is from the home…

          1. dipset4eva says:

no but Biggs and Dame put Kanye on. Rocafella was gangsta rap, most rap music at the time was gangsta rap. kanye chose to ascribe and affiliate with Rocafella so he plays by their rules. Kanye chose to act all corporate on Biggs. go back and see if the corporates embrassed Kanye when he was shopping around for a deal.. Dame & Biggs took him under and believed (not jay either)

          2. Michael Ibbett says:

I understand that and know about the history, but that falling out happened almost 10 years ago now? …on a side note, execs were just naive…I knew how dope he was before college dropout when first heard a freestyle he had over a Sean Paul beat. And I knew he was gonna be one of the greatest period when I heard that original version of college dropout that leaked like 6 months or something before it dropped

Oh and akon was a gangster singer, but signed lady gaga, so wtf weight does that hold?

          3. dipset4eva says:

you just called kanye one of the greatest. smh. hip-hop died when people start calling jay-z (an average rapper relative to other rappers out in the mid 90’s) a legend. but now kanye is one of the greatest too. i wonder if you missed the 1990-2000’s and the likes of ice cube, ll cool j, 2pac, biggie, rakim, dmx, nas etc etc, check the facts Jay-z was merely a minor rapper with poor sales and no radio spins. its only in the last decade or so when hip-hop has been has been reduced to rubble that Jay-z has managed to stand and look like a big building, hes no sky scrapper, kanye is a doghouse in comparison son

          4. Theodore Pendergrass says:

            Agree.

          5. Michael Ibbett says:

Lol really? Your username is dipset 4eva,…hahaha you’re trying to kick street culture to b dot with a username of dipset4eva. Is that suppose to be ironic or what? 13 year old Catholic girls write Shit like that all over their notebooks, fanboy.

One of the greatest, along with the names you mentioned, common knowledge at this point, classic albums equates to greatness boy.

          6. dipset4eva says:

lol ok the name is very tongue in cheek. but no way is kanye a great. jayz is a great for his longetivity and yes he does classics under his belt. but he’s still average compared to the peers he came up with.

          7. eastpointvet says:

lol average? compared to who? who in the game that came in the game with jay even still relevant besides nas?

          8. dipset4eva says:

listen right. why is everyone so hooked on relevance. this isnt a fame or celebrity game. what im saying is that when Hip-Hop was in its prime and at its best from the 1993- 2002 or so. jayz was a part player of it, he wasnt king. hes only been giving this status because the ones who made better music and sold better than him: 2pac, biggie, rakim, ice cube, ll cool j and mase, fugees, dmx (all more relevant and sold better than him in their time) are no longer around.

          9. eastpointvet says:

lol man that is laughable. half the people you named era was before jay for one. jay been at the top of the totem pole of hiphop since about volume 2 which was 98. he been king since then and who had better music is arguable to your taste. relevance matters because there is no one to compare jay to when you get into his run. this man first album came out in 96 its 2014 and he still garners attention. out of anyone you named besides biggie and pac for obvious reasons nobody you named can drop a song or do an arena tour alone because none of them are musically relevant anymore. when most of hiphop is hot with maybe 5 years of good music, we applaud them or maybe they drop 2 hot albums and we put them at the top of our list one thing that you can’t do is downplay what jay has done regardless if you like the music or not because it hasn’t been done by anybody else.

          10. dipset4eva says:

you are the problem. hip-hop died when people start calling jay-z (an average rapper relative to other rappers out in the mid 90’s) a legend. it really boils down to your tast level in terms of quality. surely there are some out there who would regard meek mill or rick ross as the best rapper out but i differ because i know the quality of music i desire can be at a much higher standard, as it was in the mid 90’s per say.

            – for your info, jay was out since 95, the fact that he couldnt gain formidable energy till 99 or so suggest he didnt have the moxie to break into the top10 let alone top5 rappers out back then.

-and please stop with this constant referencing to musical relevance because Magna Carta Holy Grail, Kingdom Come, American Gangsta, Blueprint 3 isnt what i would call good music (pitchfork review agrees with me, they avergae a review score of 5/10..). Please remind me what run your on about. Jay’s last good project was Black Album and that record with R.Kelly.

            – i’m sorry but im not going to allow you to dictate my expected level of quality by saying that jay-z efforts of the last 10years have been great (lmao).

          11. marty mcfly says:

Jayz is the rap nigga you say is “average”? You talking about quality? 99% of these niggas still aint got better bars then the late 90s Jayz, let alone after that. These niggas have no Reasonable Doubt, In My LifeTime, Blueprint, Black Album, American Gangter, Holy Grail Magna Carter in they discography. They have no songs like…

          12. dipset4eva says:

you need to get off of jay-z nuts. you just named every song of his catalogue (some not even worth mentioning). name me the last good jay-z album? i’ll answer it for you… The black album back in 2003 or so. am i wrong?

          13. marty mcfly says:

So Jayz aint got shit that bangs in the club or the car right? He aint got shit that gets the people riled up? GTFOH, you clearly lost with your foolish argument.

          14. dipset4eva says:

            name 1 jay-z club banger?

Not only are they club bangers but they have been tested in the club thousands of times and people enjoy the music. You lose again. Smh

and its not all about lyricism. to me and many others 2pac brought more to the table than Jay-z could ever do. 2pac riled up the people, his energy was contagious and it translated itself into the music which was an umbrella cover for everything afro americans stood for in terms of partying, gangsta thuggin it, emancipating ourself and enjoying music as a form of entertainment. damn, in those terms even DMX brought more to the table than Jay-z. but your too caught up in typing every song he ever did (most of which wouldnt bang in a club or a car, or even chilling with a girl).

          17. GetReal says:

my nigga you living in the 90s your opinion is extremely irrelevant due to the fact you can’t even get with the times

        2. KILLA says:

No sir, Kanye West is NOT OBLIGATED TO DO SH*T! Miss us with that “Never ascribed or lived under street culture” bullshit. When you sign a deal in a corporate building with lawyers I’m sure advising you, you are FAR AWAY from the streets. The music industry is a business. Biggs obviously was pushing for Kanye because he saw potential in him to be big which in turn would be a benefit to him and his pockets so it was mutual. I’m tired of you “Niggas” that have never been outside of your hood involving the streets with legal business. Again, would it be nice if Kanye help, yeah sure but “OBLIGATED” hell no!
