I’m beginning to feel that this dude is an experiment by an advertising company. Their goal is to see what a herd mentality consumers have. Can we sell u a mediocre product; if we have radio and powerful ppl supporting this product

    1. Rick Ross says:

you copied this. No he is not. Shut up get a grip and think for yourself

      1. bigfoot2011 says:

Ur right. I copied it from myself. I’m the one one who has been making this point. Never have I seen an artist with no demand by the ppl getting so much support. His best song has 250k views. Those numbers don’t even warren an interview

        1. thot patrol says:

facts. this nigga signed to rap radar records

        2. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

SMH. Since when does views of a song determine if its good or not?

          1. Cmon Son says:

He didn’t say it wasn’t good because it didn’t get views lil nigga he said “an artist with NO DEMAND”

          2. bigfoot2011 says:

Thank u. YouTube has allowed the fans to directly show if they have interest in an artist. In the past, the radio could force an artist on u. I’m just stating that there is no demand for this dude.

          3. bigfoot2011 says:

Where did I state that youtube views = good music? YouTube has cut out the middle man (Radio and labels). In the past, the radio could force an artist onto the consumer. YouTube views show a demand for an artist. J cole, Kendrick etc, had youtube views. This guy doesn’t have a market. Niggaz that fuck with lyrics or beats, or hooks, or whatever their interest is, ain’t checking for him. Radio is forcing him on u. That’s my point.

          4. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

you’re comparing an indie artist to two signed acts with machines behind them.

Cole and Kendrick didn’t become stars over night. It took time.

          5. bigfoot2011 says:

A$AP rocky had over 15 million views on purple swag and other songs indie. Curren$y, even french had millions of views indie b4 getting signed. U don’t need a machine to make fans click on ur youtube page. Stop making excuses. This dude has more exposure than signed artists and still can’t get views.

          6. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

Stop it. it wasn’t at 15 mill b4 “pesos” hit radio…French didnt have millions of views on YouTube. fact. Curren$y and Wiz were neck and neck, and you see who blew from that situation.

All i’m saying is that too much stock is placed on views vs. music. Not to say that everything Troy puts out im a fan of, but the criticism is crazy

          7. bigfoot2011 says:

French had over 5 million views on “New York Minute” before it was taken down. He had 5 million views on “so high” frat curren$y and millions of views on “chopper down” and “shot caller” all b4 he got signed. No one is saying their music wasn’t on the radio; we’re saying that there was a demand for them. Troy has done summer jam etc and still can’t break 250k. Read what I’m saying and u’ll see my point. Ur too busy trying to win an argument when the facts are clear.

          8. Rick Ross says:

no your right with your argument against BDot and I’m really not a fan of Troy Ave he is medicore. But I’ll explain why his getting so much demand and posts. I call it the Ross effect lol. On a bigger scale remember when BO$$ was running the game, his music was good yes but it weren’t flippin amazing and he didn’t need a big machine behind what got him where he is is the fact that people could not believe such an average rapper could be that big so the effect is people click the posts and listen to the songs cos everyone wants to know why we are clicking on the posts in the first place. Troy Ave’s lil success is not cos his any good or cos of a label ‘experiment’/Illuminati lol. Its cos he gets talked about on Twitter/Think pieces for being average. All the comments are jokes etc etc giving people more reason to click. Also New York radio is just desperate for NY rapper to do something. Hope that made sense. PURCHASE MASTERMIND

          9. bigfoot2011 says:

Ur last statement is absolutely correct. NY radio is desperate for some1. Ross actually had a hit in “hustling” and the albums are good. Troy doesn’t have any fans. If he does, they must not click on his videos. It’s like dude is signed to hot 97/ power 105 records.

          10. Yamzz says:

Maybe because troys music is for the streets not for the internet…look at Jada’s top songs they barely reaching 5 mil and still I would consider them classics…French wiz and currency put out stoner music and those kids live on the internet…I just think Troy is in the wrong era and does have some mediocre bars but wouldn’t say his music is any worse than say about half the industry

          11. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

smartest shit i read all day

          12. bigfoot2011 says:

But u can’t compare jada’s hot songs cuz they came out long ago. People are having to remember to go back and listen to them. Troy are coming out now and no one is interested. Troy is in the right era cuz the NY field is weak and are desperate for some1. He would have not been noticeable 15 yrs ago. Also, he used to rap like a fake Jeezy 10 yrs ago on “rep it with my heart” and “BK BK” now all of a sudden he’s restoring the feeling

          13. Yamzz says:

Na he def would have gotten chewed in that era

          14. Gage says:

SHOUT OUT MY NIGGA BDOT HA!!

        3. Epul says:

What the fuck would you know about what’s hot out here? You busy judging songs by YouTube views.

        4. .Trillion. says:

Check his datpiff numbers lol, I found out the other day he was signed to def jam 10 years ago and released some singles and videos sounding like a Young Jeezy wannabe and then got dropped and has now reinvented himself and has this New York gimmick and seems to have the backing and support of a few industry people.

          1. The Incredible Creation says:

wow, didn’t know he was signed to Def Jam before… lol wish i could find some of that old shit to see how it sounds smh

      2. smoss44 says:

your a dickrider… you dick ride everything industry should know though from your fan ass pic

          1. Sina Mailer Daemon Djavadkhani says:

            Troy got melodies

          2. smoss44 says:

  2. Rick Ross says:

Jesus Christ how average can one Troy Average get?

  3. dmentit says:

If you pay attention you see how payola really works… thas all it is my niggas… how the game goes

  4. radio raheem says:
