about the money is actually some dope old throw back T.I… with the killer mike verse on the remix that song is 4.5/5stars(only because all of his music post that album that had the christina aguilera/justin timberlake tracks has been complete ass)

That’s like when Ludacris came out with Theatre of the Mind and said he was top 5 dead or alive. Then 11 out of 14 songs were features. Like if you feel that way then prove it by making a solid album with just you on it. The sad thing is my favorite song on that album is the one with just him on it. And when I see a lot of features, it just feels like the label is trying to pick up these those other guy’s fan base to purchase the album. Or they don’t think the artist can hold the listeners attention on their own. I don’t know about other people, but when I buy an album I’m buying it to hear you. Not because Lil Wayne is on one of the songs or whoever the hell is hot this month is on it.
I feel ya. It’s like an almost half assed album cause of all the features. And I like TI, but I really think this is gonna be an album that you can give a quick listen and not bother w it after. I have google music so I’ll check it out, but I doubt I’ll keep it on rotation.
On the other hand, Jeezy made a hell of an album w the least amount of features IMO.

Ya’ll really complaining about features….. Really?? Just be glad that he’s putting out an album. This man is to the point that he doesn’t need to release music anymore, he’s set. Shit not much has really dropped this year anyway. As long as the music is good then who cares how many features are on his album, that’s all that really matters at the end of the day. Hip-Hop fans need to learn how to not complain about everything and celebrate and support the culture.
If I buy a TI album, I’m buying it to hear him. Not 14 other people that I don’t even listen to. That’s the point. It’s making it to where artist don’t have to stand on their own anymore. I have no problem with features but when it’s over 80% of the songs then it becomes a problem. An album filled with that many features does nothing for the artist or the culture. It’s just telling everyone else that hey you don’t have to put as much thought or time into your album, because we can just put some big names on it. It’s fucking lazy.

And if you noticed, most of these features are probably just singing on the hook. Give the album a chance before u judge it.

In all, the production is going to be amazing(s/o to Pharell) and the album is going to flow cohesively, And it seems like he’s going to give you those gems and message in songs like, stay,national anthem,on doe,on phil, light em up, about my issue, i don’t know, and you can tell how I walk.
