With the The Hunger Games Mockingjay Pt. 1 soundtrack on the way, New Zealand singer Lorde taps Kanye to add his touch to her track, “Yellow Flicker Beat”. This is the remix.
Honestly, Yeezus is my favorite Kanye album behind 808s & Heartbreak. Every since Graduation, he has been pushing the boundaries of not only the hip hop genre, but popular music in general.
Kanye provided just that, but added many layers and symphonic elements
to create a new direction for other hip hop artists to follow. Yeezus is an aggressive, dirty, and challenging piece of art that will take time to digest and understand.
If Kanye can redefine the boundaries of music then why shouldn’t every other recording artist?
