Rick Ross is one of the best MC’s / CEO’s / rap icons of our time! He has set the bar time and time again. This is an incredible album. Every song on Hood Billionaire is well produced and performed. There is a cinematic feel to this release, almost like you’re watching a movie. Ross shows he is the still the Boss!

To the haters: Ross has sold 5.2 million albums worldwide as a solo artist.

    1. War Machine says:

  11. FACTS says:

If Deeper Than Rap and Mastermind have yet to sell 500k and go gold, and his other 4 albums have yet to sell 1 million copies how can that possibly add up to 5 million?

I don’t think it would add up to 5 mill if you counted the self made series.

    1. I am a GOD says:

Deeper than rap is gold worldwide!!!

      1. FACTS says:

there is no such thing as gold or platinum “worldwide”

        1. I am a GOD says:

Your stupidity cracks me up, but it also makes me sad smh

          1. FACTS says:

  12. ZoomZoomDad-Otis says:

  14. I am a GOD says:

Shit cracks me up that these 50 cent G unit ass lickers LOVE 2 talk about Worldwide sales when it comes to 50 or G unit albums. Just like they LOVE 2 say “Oh, Curtis outsold Graduation worldwide, so 50 actually won” smh hahahaha fucking losers, but when it comes to other artist, they NEVER count worldwide sales & I mean NEVER!!!! Y’all niggas are pathetic. It also cracks me up that you’ll find more G unit fans on Ross or MMG post then actual Ross or MMG fans. Look hating on Ross is NOT gonna make 50 any popular or Ross any less. Just face it, 50 cent & G unit is dead musically.

    1. FACTS says:

i dont see anyone talkin about 50 cent on here dog, cool story though

but now that you mention it 50 sold more in 2003 in the USA than Ross sold worldwide in 10 years LMAO

    2. FACTS says:

Ya boy Curtis sold over 15 million in the US alone so no one needs to bring up worldwide sales to defend him.

    3. blackholesurfer says:

  15. cannon says:

steve bartel got hood niggas selling there music to make him billions… truth is steve bartels the real hood billionaire

  16. TrickTricktheMayor says:

I make a lot of jokes about Ross but the truth is he is a hard worker, that’s why he gets to release 2 albums in a year, he has his own video team to shoot his videos, he doesn’t wait for the label to do anything for him, a lot of these other artists wait for the labels to do damn near everything for them, props to Ross like him or not folks, his work ethic separates him, people talk fraud this and fraud that, he makes good music and he is always working, labels hates lazy ass artists.

    1. Everybody says:

It’s easy when you’re putting out forgettable bullshit records! Create 2 classic albums in a year and then come talk to me. Until then, William Roberts is as fake as the come.

  17. TrickTricktheMayor says:

The most hated on artists Drake and Ross, both them niggas are doing it, you can’t front, it makes niggas sick to their stomachs.

    1. FREE GUNPLAY'S CHAIN says:

Difference is Drake goes plat and makes more than Mac Miller every year!

  18. trevgetsbusy says:

I’m just here to laugh at the YN hatred. Pure comedy! Say what you want, but he’s a smart business man. You gotta respect that. Peace

  19. RozayRaw.com says:

Rick Ross held a private listening session last night in NYC for his forthcoming album Hood Billionaire, due out Nov. 24. The private venue in Downtown Manhattan was at capacity outside with a long line of people trying to get a first listen to the Bawse’s seventh studio album, and second this calendar year. The hip-hop community came out to support Rozay on his new project with artists such as Raekwon, Remy Ma, Papoose, The LOX, Murda Mook, DJ Khaled and of course MMG members Stalley and Fat Trel in the building for the much-anticipated party. With Black Belaire Rose bottles going around the club and big head cardboard cutouts of Rozay decorating the venue, the place was set for the arrival of the Bawse.

Ross made his grand entrance around 10:15 PM and after taking a few flicks with fans and greeting all the artists and tastemakers in attendance, the Bawse got straight to business. Before Rozay kicked off the Hood Billionaire listening experience, the MMG general thanked everybody for coming out and sharing in his “special night.” When asked the reason for his two albums in one year, Rozay stated, “I just want to keep that excitement in the culture with two albums in a year.” Def Jam CEO Steve Bartels then got on stage to present Rozay with a special plaque for selling five million records. Ross posed alongside Bartels with his brand new plaque for the flashing cameras and reminded fans to pick upHood Billionaire on Nov. 24 before getting into the listening session.

On Hood Billlionaire Ross proves once again that he has one of the best ears for beats, and his drug references and stunting on the album are done with pure conviction. With the project, Ross proves to stand tall in the rap kingdom, while taking a more aggressive approach than his previous album Mastermind. Tracks like “Heavyweight” and “Coke Like The 80s” rang off hard with a sick bass and blaring beat as Rozay kicked his street tales.

Ross proves he’s a top dog when it comes to making street records and on the title track of the album, the Miami rapper adds weight to the hard-thumping production with no-holds barred verses, as he solidifies his status in the rap game. The first half of Hood Billionaire takes a more street-themed approach that Rozay has been known for throughout his career, while tracks featuring K. Michelle, R. Kelly and Snoop Dogg show the smooth player persona of the Bawse and give the album a variation sounds.

The anticipation for Hood Billionaire only increased after hearing the project, and sounds like an indication that Rick Ross is ready to close out the year strong. With huge bars and beats to match any comer, Ross brings both the hardcore and the smooth for all listeners with a hard-hitting delivery which will leave its imprint on any street corner it’s played from.
