        2. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

i thought i took the mistletoe off my dick already.

          1. THE REAL mac DIESEL says:

THESE HOMO COMMENTS ARE GETTIN’ OUTTA CONTROL, BRIAN!!!! YOU NEED A SHRINK TO FIGURE OUT YOUR SEXUAL ORIENTATION!!!!

            ………….HA!!!! YOU SICK FUCK!!!!

            DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

    2. Greenbergs says:

this dude is on his best behavior, dont be fooled..

      1. dumb says:

“don’t be fooled”… what is that supposed to mean? FOH

        1. Greenbergs says:

what i mean is hes the type to get out of this interview and get on the phone in his limo and say “yeah that fucking nigger ebro was really trying to get me to say the wrong thing, hes a fucking prick”…

          1. GetReal says:

nigga shut up you don’t know this man

          2. Greenbergs says:

            im giving you facts…

      2. Dashing28 says:

There is nothing whatsover that supports your perspective on that.

Did you watch the interview? It was genuine.

The dude’s a little corny, but he’s genuine.

        1. Greenbergs says:

it honestly seems like hes not being real and saying what he actually wants to say, hes being very careful to be politically correct, im not saying i blame him at all these days, but its clear as dayy..

    3. Yamzz says:

Ppl who hate on him are just being ignorant. It’s like the cops. do we really hate all of them or is it the system? Iggy now is a different story cuz she capitalizes off taking a black style. Mack isn’t acting like anybody but himself.

  2. 476231 says:

I’m a huge fan of The Breakfast Club, but if Hot97 continues these types of interviews, 2015 is going to be all Hot97.

    1. Ced says:

I was thinking the exact same thing.

    2. RightHook says:

Lol almost feel sorry for the Laura girl…she looks uncomfortable and scared to ask questions…the pretty darkskin chick does well …”D digital” l i think her name is…

    3. Yamzz says:

Agree. This is a knowledgable interview that the breakfast club would never have. (Hence the kanye interview) smart conversation goes over charlemagne and envy’s heads.

      1. DeadNigga says:

CThaGod is there for the Lulz but he be saying some real shit tho but sometimes but J.Cole interview with Angie went well imagine if he was at breakfast club. Shit would of been terrible.

        1. 476231 says:

          Agreed.

Charlamagne is a smart dude and has the ability to provide a great interview, but he’s more worried about the headline and hits. DJ Envy is a hustler and that’s cool, but he’s not the brightest person. You can tell by the questions he asks and how he forms those questions. Angela Yee is there mainly for the gossip and who the guest has slept with.

2014 had some good interviews, no doubt. I just wish there were more in depth interviews and less of the giggling and “I heard a rumor…” stuff.

    4. b r z a says:

Agreed! This was a great interview. And this particular conversation always makes me think about how the Beastie Boys’ skin color has never really been questioned bc of their authenticity and respect for the culture (Rest In Peace MCA)

    5. The Ghost Of Black Justice says:

Great comment sir…. And i totally agree with you, The Breakfast Club better get some serious topics, or the HOT 97 Morning Show will be back on top in 2015. Also Laura Stylez is not needed.

    6. DeadNigga says:

Laura is there for other purposes she should be like Yee and do the rumor report or some women gossip shit.

    7. cmonhomiewemajor says:

laura is useless most of the time..she just throws in a random comment from time to time and makes the convo go off on some tangent that only staff at hot97 can understand, leaving the listener and artist totally lost

    8. Coney says:

Laura is only there to ask rappers relationship questions if needed. Otherwise she doesnt really do much. Ebro constantly makes reference to her boobs so I guess there’s that too.

    9. B Dot is a Shill says:

“charlamagne tha god” is a mouth breathing uncle tom.

the next smart thing he says will be his first

    10. IntlThink says:

My man – great comment. My Hot97 really has stepped up in 2014 mainly due to the perspective and intelligence that Ebro has brought to the show. His intelligent, very funny most of the times and willing to discuss issues. Plus he interacts heavily on social media. Rosenberg is slowly stepping his game but plays his position essentially as Ebro’s sideman pretty well. His relationships with a broad range of artists certainly helps the sheer number of guests that come to the show. My problem with the Breakfast Club is that it seems like they have had a real drop in the number of quality guests that come to the show. Most of the good guests seem to gravitate towards Angie and they get stuck with comedians and well basically c listers. They’re are a number of noticeable good ones but the numbers dropped. Plus there’s an Issue with Charlamagne.. he used to be really funny…now well listen to his podcast … I don’t want to say his a coon or uncle tom but i’m really struggling with a different word to use. His slowly been coming across as excessively subservient to perceived authority figures e.g mainstream white culture. He literally spends his time insulting black people while been patted on the back by his racist white co-hosts.(on his podcast) Or agreeing with sentiments his racist white co hosts say about black people speaking out on issues regarding racism, police brutality, prejudice etc. Anyway -I know Hot97 and breakfast club people read this shit – HOT97 well done for stepping up your game – Breakfast club your slipping and might lose the lead you worked hard to build up.

      1. 476231 says:

I agree 100%! Great comment as well.

    11. Sina Mailer Daemon Djavadkhani says:

I agree with you except the chick provides a good counterpoint, attracts identification for a different demographic , and can pick up the ball if it gets dropped

  3. Mr.Stealyogurl says:

Iggy Azalea said Q-Tips Twitter Hip hop lesson was patronizing because apparently she knows and was raised on hip hop…. So I just wanna know…
How much you gotta know about hip hop to not call yourself a runaway slave master on a record as a blonde white woman?

    1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

i can’t believe she had the audacity to say that to QTIP…Qtip is the nicest fuckin guy in the industry and hes in the UZN – its literally his job to step in and educate everybody on the history of the culture

      1. ESCOS PISSED STAINED CACKIES says:

so why aint he tweeting at chief keef, migos or bobby shmurda?

        1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

he did tweet at migos, he said he fucked with them

  4. ReturnOfSimba says:

    dope interview

  5. hostage says:

I don’t know, I just don’t dig this individual… I don’t know what it is, but it is what it is. I shall say no more and get outta here 😀

  6. yorapper says:

Only retards putting Mack and Iggy in the same box.

  7. yorapper says:

**Waits for Macklemore to drop that pro-black-anti-cop-pop-rap-smash-hit-grammy-award-winning-amazing-music-video-song**

    1. Greenbergs says:

bruh and best believe he’s gonna cry and kiss a black baby in it, and he’ll go on and win another grammy..

      1. yorapper says:

In slow motion too! But the thing is it’ll be better than any song on the topic from anyone else.

        1. Greenbergs says:

cuz he prolly got a whole ghostwriting team!!loll

    2. Rena says:

LOL!!! I think he’s genuine but it’s funny because I know it’s coming!

  8. out of the box says:

I’m not about to sit and watch this white rapper interview for hr,he’s no Eminem sorry.

      1. out of the box says:

you white?>you his stan? you wanna fk him?you care obviously because you asking me ” who cares”?

    1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

its a really good conversation…play it at 1.5x or 2x speed if you don’t wanna watch for an hour

  9. Strong Enough says:

poor kid. all he wants to do is make music but niggas keep fuckin with him. hip hip is bigger than one color skin

    1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

“You can be a black man and lose all your soul
You can be white and groove but don’t crap the roll”

the cultures for everybody who respects it and has love for the roots

  10. yorapper says:

We do have white rappers performing for all white audiences about white issues, case in point Hoodie Allen.

    1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

      fuck that fratboy

      1. yorapper says:

        No you fuck him!

  11. yorapper says:

I still think Azealia Banks was crying cause the sting from watching her enemy have a smash hit before her was just too much. I don’t buy her whole social conscious reasoning.

    1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

idunno bout Azealia’s intentions, but at least she caused the interview to get like 1.5million views and opened up the conversation

    2. Stanfield says:

FACTS. Azealia Banks is a negro bedwench too & is not authentic. All she does is troll on Twitter then throws in some fake concerned black activism.

      1. yorapper says:

Really good way of putting it. If she was so concerned about black activism she would be doing it in a more responsible way and not trolling fucking Action Bronson on twitter.

        1. Stanfield says:

Facts. And another thing about her is she openly admits to having sex with mostly older white men. That alone discredits everything she speaks.

          1. yorapper says:

Also I heard her album on Spotify and shit sounded like it was custom made for gay European men. So please don’t talk that black power rhetoric.

    3. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

      accurrate

      1. THE REAL mac DIESEL says:

INACCURATE!!!! YOU’RE WHITE WASHED!!!! JUST WAITIN’ ON AZELEA TO SHIT ON YOUR COON ASS!!!!

……….HA!!!! YOU SHOE SHININ’ BLOGGER!!!! SHE GON’ ETHER YOU LIKE T.I.!!!!

        DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

    4. Rena says:

Nope. That was so genuine, agree or disagree with her perspective. She was straight fire when she was roasting T.I and Iggy both times she broke is when she was talking about whites trying to take black music away. She feels that and many other do as well.

  12. yorapper says:

Nobody wanna hear Rosenberg’s sob stories.

  13. yorapper says:

    Comparing Kendrick’s “I” to Mack’s hits. C’mon man!

    1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

      theyre similar tbh

  14. THE REAL mac DIESEL says:

ELVIS IS IN THE BUILDING READY TO TAKE WHAT HE THINKS IS HIS!!!!

    #ELVIS

    DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

  15. Hussle says:

Damn. Another interview from Hot 97. Please stay in that lane….its great!

  16. eastpointvet says:

  17. ALMIGHTY ESCO...FK YOU BAMA'S! says:

  19. Maurice ReBe' Bass says:

Great interview. .. album still trash. .

  20. DeadNigga says:

Only thing I hate what Macklemore did was apologize for winning grammy he should of accept it and told everyone go fuck themselves.

    1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

imagine the reaction that would happen then

  21. Used 2 B A Youngin says:

    Awesome interview

  22. archibald periwinkle says:

I like his music but Macklemore corny as hell.

  23. AshtonGLD says:

Another case of me enjoying a rapper’s insight and interviews more than their actual music.I respect Macklemore though. Seems like a genuine guy. Black or not, we need more genuine dialogue in hip-hop.

Hip-Hop (next to Punk Rock and Soul) is like the only genre right now that’s still rooted in social action. Issues like race, sexual orientation, gender inequality and sometimes religion are only really talked about in hip-hop. This is why I love the culture.

  24. WeHereNow says:

Ebro talks too much we didn’t tune in to listen to you, facilitate the interview don’t spend 5 minutes telling us what you told us in the other interview

  25. ZORINO says:

Apart from the “Thrift Shop” I was unfamiliar with Macklemore’s work. After the interview, I did listen to snippets. The Heist is actually an enjoyable album.

The interview was good, I just hope Ebro didn’t talk too much. He sometimes act like the interviewee instead of the interviewer. Other than nice interview.
