Lil Wayne Addresses Young Thug ‘Barter 6’

Fighting Words.

Although Young Thug changed the name of his mixtape album to the Barter 6, Lil Wayne isn’t letting him off the hook. During a recent tour stop in Columbus, Ohio, Weezy said “There’s no such thing as Carter 6” and to tell his rivals to suck his dick. Eww, that’s nasty.

      1. Black says:

Yeah, I guess you’re right. Master P would be the perfect illustration of it.

Lil wayne only has himself to blame for young thug. Young thug is truly a manifestation of all of Lil waynes lyrics for the last 10 years. You really want to see how impressionable the youth are to these rappers lyrics? look no further than Young thug. If you want to rap about being a pill poppin animal, syrup sipping nigga, and have slightly homoerotic tendencies, dont be surprised if some nigga says “me too”.

    1. Mylo says:

Yep but it’s funny Wayne stand can’t see it like that. He’s literally the product of Wayne…. Blood, sing song drug fueled music, less bars, more melodies…. If you dissing thug you dissing Wayne… Wayne, Kanye, lil b brought that get shit to hiphop

isn’t this sad how wayne was the considered the greatest alive at one point and the biggest rapper in the world. and now he’s performing at some local clubs in Ohio. used to love wayne but he fell off hard

    1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

      kinda sad.

      1. BK!! says:

Its also sad how you cats who work for this site promote this WAAAACCCCKKKK motherfucker Young Thug..Go ahead saynhes a good rapper. Its your JOB!Your job is to report on good music and real talent instead your like the 15 year olds who believe Trick False is a real Coke dealer.Rap Radar needs to shape the fuck up and stop FOLLOWING trends!Thats not Hip Hop!Hip Hop stes the trends!!!!

        1. Mylo says:

          Nah bra you contradicting yourself…

      2. Makadam says:

That doesn’t even make sense. Big artist do house shows and big stadium shows all the time. Wayne’s upcoming shows include Oracle Arena and the United Center. RTH may just be a hater but B.Dot you in the industry…you should know better.

        1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

do you think Jay Z or Drake would do a tour of 200 cap venues?

          1. Makadam says:

Paper is paper, playa. There are a number of reasons an artist at his level can do small shows mixed in with shows that have cap of 20,000. He is still headlining the big shows and has many on deck for 2015. Musicians from different genres do it ALL THE TIME. Now when he start doing shows like 50 cent was doing where he can ONLY get small cap venues (and not even selling those out like when he was in Houston at the Arena Theater), then you can shake your head and wonder. Love him or hate him, Wayne ain’t nowhere near that at the moment.

        2. BlackJesus says:

          That’s not the real bdot!

    2. Megamind says:

You can’t say that when last summer he did the Lil Wayne vs Drake nation/int’l tour! Like someone said below, artist do this all the time. He’s prob going to small venues where his connect is solid. Not just a money thing, but where he’s literally prob OG/Homies with the venue owner or promoter. I guarantee you even if a club in a small town somewhere he never been offered like 100-200k for an hour he wouldn’t do it bc he don’t need the $$$ and dealing with local promoters can be a hassle. That’s why you have the Live Nations of the world

      Megamind

      1. RTH says:

i get where youre coming from but we both know that tour wouldn’t have been shit without drake on it. wayne got zero buzz. but coming from being mentioned with the biggest names in music to doing this type of shit is sad. waynes career is a steady decline and im not sure what he can do to save it. and that aint a diss thats just the reality of it because i want wayne to be good again

        1. Dope says:

That is reality, his career is on a downwards path. But as Megamind said artists do this all the time. Maybe a few of them don’t want to, but most big names do small clubs as well, it just doesn’t get covered as it’s not interesting as their big tours. It’s easy money.
