Dame needs to either do something actually & really relevant to Hip Hop or disappear for Good!!!! It seems like for the last 2 months every other day this dude is in the news or being interviewed & for what?!?!!? Was Dame a key part in building a “Dynasty” yes however I can’t get over the fact that about 3+ years ago his exact words were “I’m done with hip hop/rap, I’ve done that already, I’m on to bigger & better things”. fast forward to the present & none of the “bigger & better” things worked out so he’s taking shots at everyone who kept making $$$ off of hip hop whether they are Black or White!!!! Over the weekend I showed some dudes the dvd “International Grizzly”, choke no joke directed that Dame made (would not acknowledge choke & owes him $$$) just to show them exactly why Jay stopped fucking with him & it changed their whole opinion of Jay & the moves he made with the break up!

    1. marty mcfly says:

Dame made one to the most stupid moves ever at Rocafella and that was when Jay was going over to Def Jam and Jay offered Dame the entire Rocafella brand (cause Jay was gonna leave completely) and all he wanted was his masters to Reasonable Doubt… Dame fought over the masters of one album instead of accepting a whole empire. That move alone was enough reason for Jay to never fuck with Dame again (as well as Dame jumping in a Cam’ron diss song against Jayz), cause that move was completely unnecessary on Dame’s part. He coulda been still running Rocafella to this day and he would still have had access to the music from Reasonable Doubt. Instead all he has is the masters in which the public no longer gives a shit about because they know Jay don’t fuck with Dame.

      1. el primo negro says:

according to dame, when jay wanted full ownership of reasonable doubt, dame and biggs asked for the roc-a-fella name back. dame said jay didn’t want to give the name back.

        1. marty mcfly says:

You think about it yourself… You got Reasonable Doubt vs the Rocafella brand? Which one are you gonna go with? One album or a whole roster of albums? Now I don’t know about the name shit but the offer still remains the same. Whatever position he was in, he fought over one album that he already had access to anyway. That wasn’t smart at all. Even if he wanted to argue over the name? Lets be honest, when a Rocafella project comes out, who holds the interest of the public more? Jayz or Dame? I mean I could go on especially by also saying if the Godfather of your child is worth 100s of millions of dollars, is it wise to end that relationship and leave with zero? Just cause you wanna fight over one album? I mean ya’ll make the decision yourself.

        2. marty mcfly says:

Lets imagine the other way around then. Lets say Dame says ok cool, you can have the masters for Reasonable Doubt since you the one that wrote it anyway and I wanna continue with the Roc… Dame would’ve mostly likely been in a way better situation. Its his pride and ego that got the best of him when he decided to fight with Jayz.

      2. MR. UNDI$PUTED THE MOGUL says:

I agree totally. The audacity of him to say that “Reasonable Doubt” was all 3 of their baby when he had a few co producing credits on the album & didn’t write 1 lyric. Don’t forget promoting or trying to promote Cam’ron to Vice President of Roc-A-Fella when Jay was gone on vacation!!!

      3. el jim chapo guzman says:

aye marty I feel bad for this man. He helped build the roc and at the end of the day found out his partner was always and still is a snake. Jay z couldnt have build the roc without this man.

        1. marty mcfly says:

Read the comment again, Jay didn’t snake Dame, he offered him the deal of a lifetime. Jay coulda built the Roc without Dame and the proof is in the money trail, and in the talent and connects of Jayz himself. Remember Jay was the one rapping not Dame. Now that may not seem like a big difference to people but in the music business thats a huge difference. One man played two positions, Jay was co founder and flagship artist. This is why Jay held more power then Dame.

          1. el jim chapo guzman says:

What the fuck do you mean marty dame grew up rich and build roca fella records. Jayz wouldnt have a roc nation today if it wasnt for this guy. Not to mention jayz wouldnt even be the jayz you know today if it wasnt for dame. remember Dame Dash was the producer on 8 Jay-Z albums, found Kanye as a producer for Blueprint, and was the reason Kanye got signed as an artist! And that’s not all. This man had a tremendous impact on who Jay is today. Period.

          2. marty mcfly says:

How did Dame “build” Rocafella records before he put out any records? What success did Dame have with Rocafella before working with Jayz? None, why because Rocafella did not exist before Jayz. Also when Jay put out music, who got paid the most? Jayz or Dame? Now that establishes a money trail in which Jay held power over Dame… who was putting in the millions of dollars in Rocafella? Jay or Dame? After 1998 It cost tens of millions of dollars to run Rocafella on a major level so who you think was funding Rocafella? Jay or Dame? At this point Jay was worth about 50 million dollars if not more and Dame was worth maybe 1.5 million dollars… Its clear who was the most valuable player between the two in terms of who “built” the Roc.

          3. el jim chapo guzman says:

And niggas wonder why I’m so salty my doctor told me to reduce my sodium, See, thats why I don’t get along with these culture vultures cause your don’t know half of the shit your talking about.

          4. marty mcfly says:

Dame is the definition of a culture vulture. He wants to make more money then the artists off music he did not create. Tell Dame to give Curren$y what he owes him for Pilot Talk 1 & 2.

          5. el jim chapo guzman says:

tell currency to give that chain back.

          6. marty mcfly says:

Spitta probably gave it back to Jay, the real owner of the Roc.

          7. @navenoblique says:

Yo you have no idea what you’re talking about. Jay came into the game with is own money. Dame alienated everyone because of his ego. He talked bad about the Weinstein’s (one of the biggest movie companies in the us) and screamed on execs / spent money until no one rocked with him. Dame also doesn’t produce…what are you like 5? You need to get your facts str8 man

          8. el jim chapo guzman says:

the proof is in the back of the albums cover.

          9. @navenoblique says:

Bruh you said jay z would be nothing without same and that same produced for him. You sound crazy. Jays first video was on a yacht that he paid for. Smh. Young niggas

          10. Dark Matters says:

LOOOL Nino, you need to cancel your subscription to wherever it is you get your “facts” from. You’ve got ish all wrong.

          11. Vurbz Fenomeno says:

Nah bruh,,they needed each other …dames a savvy business guy..the problem is his ppl skills and eccentricity …he’s kinda like Kanye …he needs to fight someone even if they ain’t fighting back ….jigga got that Michael corleone swag…waiting patiently and collected

          12. marty mcfly says:

Savvy how? What did Dame do in music before he got with Jayz? Lets look at business savvy here, you got the two founders of the Roc right, Jay and Dame (Biggs the weed roller lol) ok now Jay is worth about 500 million dollars and Dame is probably worth around a couple mil. Who’s really the more business savvy between the two? COMEONSON

        2. Dark Matters says:

Are you slow? Dame was compensated handsomely for his share of the Roc. They(Jay, Dame & Biggs) sold Rocafella to def jam for 10 million, which they split 3 ways.

Def Jam then wanted Jay to remain on as the president of their company, so as incentive they offered him the Rocafella name. He then told Dame, that Dame could have the Rocafella name, if Dame would grant him full ownership of the Reasonable Doubt master. Dame didn’t want to make the trade.

Dame’s whole thing was he wanted to treat Jay Z like Jay Z was his property. He was upset Jay Z didn’t want to do business with him, any longer.

  2. MR. UNDI$PUTED THE MOGUL says:

          19. Vurbz Fenomeno says:

          20. marty mcfly says:

Savvy how? What did Dame do in music before he got with Jayz?

          21. Vurbz Fenomeno says:

Nothing before jay…but he was the one that had the idea to network with fashionistas to create rocawear…he was the one that created dash films and made paid in full and the woodsman (with kevin bacon)…he was the one in the business meeting fighting with kevin liles to give them higher percentages when they were under universal (which they got). Dont let the fact that he is a loud mouth arrogant dude that has no pp skills diminish his business accumen.

          22. marty mcfly says:

Who put up the money for Rocawear? Jayz or Dame? When it came time to create the brand and keep it afloat when it was failing at first, who pumped millions into the brand until it started turning over? Jayz or Dame? I’ll give him props for the films but Jay don’t make movies but don’t let the fact Jay is worth about 100x more then Dame fool you into believing Dame can see Jay in any capacity when it comes to business.

          23. Vurbz Fenomeno says:

Lol..bruh.. Kevin liles used to worked at universal after def jam with Lyor Cohen and dame was in the room negotiating with these cats day in and day out About percentages..Kevin liles said that shit on the breakfast club ..jays business moves in the board room didn’t really start until the ending days of rocafella..but that’s neither here nor there.. I’m jus sayin jigga and dame worked well together and dame ain’t no chump when it comes to business.. He’s just a lil too gong ho with his moves

          24. marty mcfly says:

Yeah well good looking Dame, Jay about half a billion up so maybe Dame can find a way to negotiate his own money now.

        2. Dark Matters says:

Are you slow? Dame was compensated handsomely for his share of the Roc. They(Jay, Dame & Biggs) sold Rocafella to def jam for 10 million, which they split 3 ways.
