so sad,so sad…. but true ,smh

Sad? How? He’s a non-lyrical trap rapper who has the lead track for a movie with a $100M budget. How Waka has transformed his career and stayed relevant is a testament to his management and is a lesson to all non-lyrical rappers. He knows who he is and is monetizing off of it. You niggas are lost.

      1. Right, I wish more niggas thought with that mindset. I watched a video of Waka & his goons runnin around a club causing rauckus back when “Hard N Da Paint” dropped. Knocking niggas out, talkin mad shit, breakin shit & picking fights with anyone who looked the part. I thought to myself damn this nigga ain’t gon be around long due to some stupid shit. Soon afterwards he got shot in an attempted robbery. I think that experience along with a lot of other negative shit in his life changed his outlook & he started taking advantage of his position. I’m a fair-weather fan of Waka by all means but I’m glad to see he transitioned into a businessman. I wouldn’t mind another “Hard N Da Paint” tho.

Using your exact same logic, you’re telling me it’s cool if rapper Nas acted in a gay role in a movie, as long as he gettin’ his paper, right?… FOH! All I’m saying is, have some morals and set some standards for yourself!

Moves like this puts dents in your career in the long-run. As much as I hate to admit it, but Ludacris (who is one of my personal favorite rappers) is a prime example of where selling out for a few ends gets you. As soon as he jumped on “Baby” by Justin Bieber, people labeled Luda a sellout and now he’s struggling to get respect again! CHOOSE YOUR CAREER MOVES WISELY!

        1. Kris Kompute says:

I said non-lyrical rapper. Can you fuckin read?

When you aren’t lyrical, your career in this is short. Your music lacks substance and you have to find ways to monetize your new relationships while you have buzz. If not, you will be gone as fast you came e.g. Chief Keef.

Your Nas example shows how stupid you are.

          1. Cartune says:

Lol you still sound fxcking retarded using your logic! Cause if you’re using your logic still, then you’re saying it’s okay for Waka to act a gay role in a movie sense he’s ‘non-lyrical’ rapper… IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU’RE LYRICAL OR NOT YOU FXCKTARD, a sellout is a sellout no matter how you look at it!

          2. Kris Kompute says:

What constitutes a sellout? Someone who makes sound business decisions to have a better life for his family and to break the generational curse of poverty?

So Jay-Z working with Linkin Park…sellout? Ice Cube and “Are We There Yet?”…sellout? Dr. Dre selling Beats to Apple…sellout? 50 Cent going melodic on every song in the mid 2000s…sellout? TI signing Iggy Azalea…sellout?

You are so got damn ignorant. Prob wear a Barter 6 letterman every week when you go see your PO.
